think the Welsh lads can ban g out a tune too, great atmosphere again. Its like Anfield people are engaged with the game the players and the manager ,

Haven't been watching the welsh game, been watching the Dutch v Norway, Holland winning 2-0 and heading to the World Cup

you will have to walk over broken glass to get to the play off game then,
The atmosphere at the other nations grounds always seems to be "genuine" despite Wembley holding 90000.

Yea I wont get to that game, unless one of my mates gets in through the tartan army membership.

Couldnt tell you last time I watched an england game, its on stv up here, which is another point of rage, scotland fans cant even watch our own games on council tv. ;D

yup. And its Eufa & Fifa that sell the rights to games, so cant blame SFA.

Its simply down to SKy bidding the most for scotland games, I have this convo every week with my dad about football on tv. ;D

I understood that National team games were supposed to be free to view England are onITV why are not the Scotland games on STV etc?

STV/ITV outbid sky I assume for England games. Probably used up a big chunk of money for that, so none left for scotland games.

Both the same TV entity in terms of finance so it makes sense to bid for the country with the biggest viewing figures.

I really think for a long time The Scots fans did not fancy their team and to be fair they were awful. However the last few years its clear the team has improved and with the crowd behind them as we all know anything is possible.

Same with Italy and Portugal. Could play each other in final playoff.

Standard of the Euros last year really was appalling when the winners can't even qualify for a World Cup less than a year later.

Italy missing on World Cup for second time in a row just seems odd. I forgot it was a one game playoff (thought it was two legs).

Looking for forward to this evening to see if Canada get a result in Costa Rica and qualify for the World Cup for first time since 86 (when I was 1).

Italy is a shocker, missing the last one was weird as they always qualify but to miss out as European champions is just wow

Italy have not played a knockout game at the World Cup since 2006 and the next World Cup is 2026 if they qualify.
