Rob Page? Just a glorified PE teacher isn't he? Gets too lippy for my liking when he doesn't have much of a record to go on either.

What has happened to African football.

Always had a couple of teams in the tournament that looked impressive and were dangers to any big team.

The current African Champions struggle to make a 5 yard pass.

I think we need to beat England and hope for other results to go our way. Considering England will want to finish top of the group to avoid the better teams (if that's how it works), I think our chances are slim and no chance. And slim just left town.

Never mind, there's always the rugby!

Ok, England. Need you to set up and beat the US handily so that Berhalter is canned and (hopefully) we can bring in a competent coach who can realize the potential this squad has for the 2026 world cup.

C'mon U.S.....3-2 USA. I think we're gonna Shock the World. We always play you boys tough. Its physical and a real slug fest. US are usually more physical and can play in hot weather. England have more talent but its England ....they always find a way to lose a match they should win.

American's looked very good after dodgy 15 minutes. Wonder if they can keep up the pace for the 2nd half. McKennie real influence in the middle.

      Good game to watch

US missing quality on the final ball or this could be interesting. As it stands I expect England to capitalize on an error take the lead early in the second half.

It'd have been absolutely criminal for Mount to score on the stroke of half time.

Aimless, clueless and no one really standing up and taking control - typical England. Mason Mount benefits from the same old biases that have undone England in the past - a good looking, white, Anglo Saxon lad who plays for one of the top clubs ensures his starting spot despite being average in mostly everything he does. Involved in numerous breakdowns, lost the ball on half an hour and USA pounced.

USA have been excellent though. Worryingly for England, they've not utilised their strategy against Wales ie blow all your energy in the first half and hold on for dear life in the second. Fingers crossed they keep taking it to England. Deserve to be in front in this match.

Remember - loser of this match has to keep James Corden so there's a lot riding on it.
