Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup: Winner Argentina 🇦🇷
      Oct 12, 2021 04:25:51 pm
Starts Nov 2022. A winter world cup.

      Home nations summary...

England looking good for qualification, 1 more win should do them, as usual easy group. ;D

Scotland looking good for a play off place, so long as we stay 2nd in group, 4 point cushion before tonight's game.

Wales in with a shout of a play off place too, currently locked on 11 points with the czech's

NI & Eire both pish already out :-(

7hr difference to the US east coast is not terrible, unless they are morning games. Granted the US may not even make it anyway.

One of the funniest things about this shitshow is Qatar desperately trying to naturalize players in order to field a semi-competitive team. They're currently lobbying FIFA to get more flexibility in the rules.

It's another hour to that because Qatar don't use daylight saving time in winter.

Courtois went through the usual "too much football" sob story after losing out on the Bronze medal in the Nations League. But if he thinks this years schedule is tough, it's not a patch on next year's.

There was a 3 week gap between the end of the league season and the start of the World Cup in 2002. So FIFA then insisted on a 4 week window before every World Cup since. For this World Cup, there will be one week between the break of the club season and the tournament starting, which international coaches are not going to take very well. UEFA are also insisting on the European group stages be completed before the tournament starts. Then Courtois might have something to complain about.

It crazy just so they can tick a box of holding a world cup in the middle east.

Well chuffed for us (scotland) the lads are playing brilliantly.

Gonna be a big ask to get out of these playoffs, but after beating someone like denmark anything can happen.

I actually feel jealous for the Scots enjoying their team. Full house great noise not a feckin Trumpet in sight and no moronic songs being sung.
The play off game is going to be some night

you will have to walk over broken glass to get to the play off game then,
The atmosphere at the other nations grounds always seems to be "genuine" despite Wembley holding 90000.

I’ve personally always found football too tribal to be arsed about international football

I love and live for Liverpool, I genuinely can’t and never have been able to get into England.. I can’t dislike the likes of Maguire, Pickford, Walker or the likes of Terry or Rio or whoever in the past on a Saturday but then support them for England

Not arsed, don’t actively want them to lose but 100% don’t watch them or want them to win
