French player wasn't even touched. Must have done his ACL because no reason for him to be injured from that.

Australia have a player called leccy? Me leccy

France look exceptional when they attack in wide areas. Tchouameni looks the part as well, excellent reader of the game, intelligent with his passing, shame we didn't get him.

Yep. France will take some beating. So much quality.

Btw has there ever been a tournament with so much added time? When I was it kid it seemed +3 mins was quite a lot, this WC 7-10 mins seems normal. I find that weird.

Clock is stopped at every stoppage, just shows how much time is wasted that the 4th official doesn’t add on.
      Hope it catches on here.

France will take some stopping, especially with Mbappe and Giroud playing so well. Also they have Konate playing at the back.

Yeah this is the way it should be instead if the standard 4-5 mins maximum. Should be implemented in everywhere.

France on paper is a great team, just about finding the right mix.

Enjoyed watching France tonight.  Also caught a bit of Saudi Arabia who I thought worked really hard for their win.

I don't think South American teams are to be feared as they once were.

Yeah it's the way it should be.  Properly done to the watch.  Let's face it the next logical step is having 30 minutes of actual playing time each half and having some kind of horn or hooter blowing.  I know it's a bit Rugby League but it would actually make the game better and arguably more exciting as well.

Watching the Argentina v Saudi game now on catch up. Saudis played well, high line and lots of running, also 2 good goals. Argentina look poor. They have had 4 or 5 players in forward positions waiting for a decent pass in behind defense and they didn't create much. A few good clearances by the Saudis but very little threat from a team supposed to be 1 of the favourites.

I think they should just stop the clock for every Stoppage and game ends on 90, you’ll soon see time wasting get less and less.

Seeing Morocco get a draw vs Crotia and results thus far makes me a tiny bit more opponistic about us getting something from Beligum today (not likely though)
