A fantastic result from a very difficult game, Atletico is a powerhouse with an excellent defending strategy, perhaps Klopp needs to teach his wobble defense some. Luckily we had to goal start, and Atletico went down to 10 men due to the main and only contribution by the passenger (Firmino the dud). The goals were mainly down to the clumsy Matip and lightweight Keita, mind you the whole defence has struggled, Trent, Robbo, and Matip were really poor, even VVD was far behind. Klopp needs to reshuffle his defence, Gomez and Tsimikas ought to be recalled and even Konate. The rest of the players and the keeper have done very well.
We are still lacking creativity upfront, and Coutinho is still available for LFC to re-grab him easily. He is the missing link.

A huge improvement is required for the Sunday game against the scum.

      You still here  ;D

Absolutely no improvement to beat United on Sunday. Even the scrappy performance would do it on recent results.

      Shithead has been binned mate.

It would be awesome if a mod could take care of this weapon. His posts are absolute trash.

Yep, interesting why they don’t, I’ve lost count of how many of my posts has been removed by mods over the years, simply because I speak my mind, but this tw*t seems to get away with it, whatever happened to free speech huh ??

Did love him running down the tunnel and refusing to shake hands at the end. The injustice of it all!!!! They are always the best wins for me

I got the feeling he was legging it down the tunnel to prepare himself to tear a few strips of his players. No wonder they stayed out applauding the crowd

Good win, those types of games are what European footy are about. Considering we were all told how this would be a tough group - we're pissing it. Do these cu*ts at Anfield next game and we're through and can relax against Milan and Porto.

Loved Virg leaving that arm/elbow on the back of Luis' head at the end.

      Typical reaction from him really.

Laughed my arse, would of been funny if the ref had given him another yellow.

Anyway another chorus of "F**k off Suarez" in two weeks time!!

Who the F**k liked this post? It’s nonsense. Firmino worked his socks off - the whole team struggled defensively, I don’t think we can lay blame to individuals.

Just watching man utd CL. There are down 2-0 to Atalanta. There are there for the taking, we just need the nerves and composure to win at a hostile environment at old tratford.

One positive takeaway of the game against Atletico is that if we can win there, with the hostile crowd and shithousery, we can win anywhere.

Brian you’ll remember the days when opposing side were beat before a ball was kicked, especially in the European cup days, when drawing Liverpool was like death nell to all comers, well I don’t know about you or anybody else but I think we hold a element of the same fear today,

Whenever a CL draw is imminent I imagine those in the draw would be shitting themselves thinking about drawing against us, we fear no one but they most certainly fear us.
