Jota choice I think is a secret tactic to keep their Pe teacher thinking. Matip and VVD let in some goals so Konate is being bedded in.

Yea, starting Mane on the bench is a head scratch, the man is a warrior and built for these games, and he's actually recovered form.

I guess we'll see how Diogo does, maybe Jürgen feels tactically he has an edge somehow with him, or Mane has a knock, hard to know...

Don't think he has much choice. Like who on the bench would he start ahead of him. Only Jones imho, and I guess Jürgen felt it was too soon after coming back from injury to start him.

Bit of a mad one on the selection. Seems crazy to leave Matip out as I think he's been our best defender so far this season! Can only imagine he's thrown Konate in to deal with their pace

Would rather Jones over Keita and would probably started Mane too (although it is a nice feeling to know we've got a truly world class option on the bench)

Thiago wasn't serious or long term according to Jürgen yet where is he? If fab has a knee injury I doubt we will see him for the foreseeable as it seems when our players are injured it takes a while for them to get back.
