Tends to play out wide and cut in, quite direct, pretty strong with pace. Joined from United at under 12 level

So apparently Blair was signed from united a couple of years back: injuries have limited his game time but he is highly rated. He’s a left winger/forward with an eye for goal and blistering pace.

By look of him he is no relation to Tony.

Wasn’t far off on the line up but no idea about this Blair lad. Surprised that Phillips isn’t even getting a start in this competition for a 2nd time now, thought he’d have been certain to start. Think this pretty much means that the weekend pairing will again be Virgil and Konate.

Also surprised we have allowed Van Den Berg to play against us, don’t really see the logic in that to be honest.

I thought the rules had changed regarding loanees, that you couldn't stop them playing against you?

Notice the lad has played every game for Preston so far and even got himself a couple of goals.

I was thinking the same with van den berg.
But I guess it gives our management a good close up of him against better opposition.
If he scores the winner though....

So apparently Blair was signed from united a couple of years back:

Joined as an Under 12 player so I'd say the majority of his development has been through our own academy.

Nice young team, and I’m actually glad the young Dutch lad on loan to them is starting so I can have a good look at him, apparently he’s impressed a lot this season.
