      NB: Team no longer available

I would play Firmino in the middle but I think Jones will be picked and Firmino instead of Jota.

      Alisson,
      Trent, Konate, Virgil, Robbo
      Jones, Hendo, Keita
      Mane, Jota, Salah

Thiago will be back in the matchday squad, expect to see him get a good 20mins or so.
Gone for Jota ahead of Bobby on the basis that we have Atletico midweek(?), so think he will be a 2nd half sub in preparation for that game. IMO Bobby is probably a bit more suited to start the midweek game than what Jota is, with the style of play from Atletico.

Brighton are no mugs. This could be a tricky game.
If we are on our game we will have enough to win but they are not too bad defensively and can create too.

Hopefully Thiago and keita are back. We will need them in the coming weeks.

Decent side are Brighton, Potter has them purring nicely but can’t see us being troubled too much by them, we are on a different level and the gulf in class will prove too much, having said that though they have given a good account of themselves this season and can’t be taken for granted,

We all thought the Scummers would have been a tight game  but look how that turned out , FIVE f***in NIL, and they were lucky to get NiL 😂,

Really can’t see Brighton halting our unbeaten run….

Brighton have improved, although the form the Reds are in, agree with the above post, going for a 3  0 win against our visitors tomorrow afternoon.

Can't wait to be back tomorrow after the international break & then four successive away games.

Brighton are a very decent side but I think we're on cloud 9 at the minute and will be full of confidence. Really wouldn't surprise me at all if this was another 4+ rout. Got the feeling we're just going to be too much for them

Up against a good team with one of the most underrated managers around.

We should be flying though after recent results so I’m expecting us to get it done but I don’t see there being more than a goal or two in it.

I love you Liverpool fans. My 1st Team is Brighton and second the Mighty Reds.

Unlike Man City last week you have been honest in your praise and opinion of the Seagulls. Man City harked on how we cheated last year (2 - 3). I hope you stuff them and win the league. 2 - 0 to you tomorrow but we will leave with our heads held high. Thanks for being so Gracious

Yeah, excellent coach and they play good stuff, but we got this. If we play to out potential we are levels above.

I think we will need to be more focused at the back today than we needed to be last week.

Weather looks like it is going to be raining so could act as abit of a leveller. They will be organised and break quickly. A fast start would be great but patience will be needed if we don't score early and focus at the back to keep the clean sheet because if we keep a clean sheet we will win.

Hoping the Arab army can take something off Chelsea but with no manager or shiny new signings Chelsea are going there at the right time.

Tough game against Brighton who are much better coached Under Graham Potter in the pressing game than Ole could ever hope to be. I'd be interested what Potter goes on to do after Brighton because he seems to have a bright future ahead.

I'm hoping we take this game very seriously because Brighton have caused us issues in the past and once again they will be dangerous not only with their flowing style but also they like to use 6 foor 7 Dan Burn up against Trent and have done so effectively in the past. In fact they beat us 1-0 at Anfield last season and in reality that flattered us. Also they have earned  Maupay who must be one of the biggest shithousers in the division.

Will be a game where we will make and concede chances I think. I just hope like against United we are ruthless when they come and dont get complacent when they arrive.

Salah will be fancying this one and im guessing Sadio comes back in the side at Jotas expense.

Two players possibly on show today who I think we should at least take a look at for possible additions, Tariq Lamptey would imo be a ideal cover for Trent, and Yves Bissouma would slot in nicely for cover for Fabinho, doubt we’d get both but I’d prioritise Lamptey, to me it’s the one position we need quality cover for, and before I have to don my tin hat, Neco just doesn’t float my boat, as good as he has been of late, I’d still put Lamptey head and shoulders above him,

He’s just getting back from a serious injury, beforehand though he was getting praise from upon high, from Chavs & Citeh in particular, he is quality the lad, and like I said he’s a match for Trent, so just like Kostas is proper cover for Robbo Lamptey offers similar if not better at RB, I think we should steal a March on our rivals by bringing him in asap, because this fella won’t be a seagull for long !!

I hear you Lamptey is a very good player and will probably be plying his trade elsewhere soon . Just don't think we would pay what is required to have as mainly a back up
