      Abysmal.

Not going to win the league drawing 40% of your first 10 games.

We concede far too many goals, draw far too many games and we’ve seen that cost us several times.

Thrown away 6 points in 3 games already. All eyes in the Chavs, solid in defence and concede very few.

Champions league and the league we are throwing away leads like nobodies business.

Today was a massive chance to really pull away from either United and/or Spurs and get a 4 point gap over City. Let ourselves down and Klopp is every bit as bad as the players today, poor lack of changes from him today.

Defensive performance apart, we were extremely complacent with finishing in the first half. Could've easily been 3 ahead at half time. Should've been, in fact. The three points were there for the taking.

Defending has been a collective problem and those 2 coming back isn’t going to solve the issue altogether. Fabinho was on the field when we coughed up leads to Brentford.

Usual story couple of injuries to our key players and the squad players unfortunately not good enough.

We led 2-0. We dominated them...then we stopped playing hard.

thiago and fabinho will give us balance in midfield, which was non existent today.

CITY had 618 passes 3 shots on target we had 628 passes and 3 shots on target very much like going through the motions with no real passion or drive just a bit flat after last week. Still unbeaten just need more from our midfield I think

All well and good scoring goals but they’re worth F**k all when you’re too sloppy in other aspects and leak goals left right and centre. Not every game is going to be like Atletico or Milan where you can escape from trouble.

Needs sorting in the next couple of weeks because no team that leaks goals like we’re doing at the minute win the biggest trophies.

Jürgen needs some soul searching to do and figure out how he’ll get his team to defend again. Really struggle to hold a lead.
He really does, 6 points dropped from winning positions this season, you don't win Premierships by drawing, 2009 showed us that. Can you believe Arsenal are just 5 points behind us and 3 off City. (Thanks Norfolk Red)

We never stopped attacking in the first half and never really started in the 2nd. It wasn't really a lineup for controlling/holding

Injuries in midfield catching up to us.

I went with Mane as MOTM as he kept driving in 2nd half.

Just more of the same really. Sometimes we will win 5 nil others draw 3-3 2-2 and other times win 3-2.

But in the end those score lines aren't score lines of the prem champions sadly.

Chelsea look like a realistic winner playing within themselves and getting the results like we did 2 years ago.

We entertain but nah I'm not having us at all for a title. This is a 3rd place team.

Over a period of time we are losing that midfield structure that was vital too us. The likes of Naby Ox Jones are taking over when in our 2 seasons of trophies we were solid as a rock in there. Fab Gini Hendo Milly. We need more of those types in the ranks rather than the 'ballers'.

      Engine room has gone kaput.

Poor second half especially,  lost shape and far too easy to play through again. The switch of mane to the right seemed to hinder mo. Midfield didn't have much balance,  though klopp should have changed earlier. 2 points dropped.

Agreed he’s a squad player at best not a starter. Think he thinks a lot of himself, confidence is good but arrogance isn’t.

On a side note, Curtis' form has taken a very sharp dive. I don't know if he loses his shine without Fabinho's support, but he has been a complete passenger the last few performances.

Third draw at home this season.  All against teams in the top six.  Got to be winning at least a couple of those or you are leaving yourselves a lot to do away from home.

Oxlade-Chamberlain and Curtis Jones - definitely in the second string midfield for me.   Thought Henderson run out of steam as well and Firmino didn't do anything today.

Hopefully need some midfielders back soon but we've got two tricky games to come before the international break.  At least the Atletico game isn't win or bust but we need to get the three points against West Ham next weekend.

Sure it’s tough to lose 3 in the same position, but it’s hardly a shock is it… sadly keita and Thiago just can’t be relied upon

Well done to Brighton, they played really well and certainly deserved something from the game. They have a real gem in Potter, really impressed with his tactical nous, hope they can keep him, but think they may struggle.
As for us, I have no words, 2-0 up and we implode, not good enough, but a theme at the moment, something Klopp needs to sort ASAP!

You knew that five midfielders would be injured at once?
