Happy enough with that X1 what a boost having Fabinho back in, and a great confidence boost for Kostas, for me though this is yet another opportunity for Alex to prove his doubters wrong, and let’s face I think he’s in last chance saloon territory here, it hasn’t been easy for him coming off the bench for the most part and more often than not playing out of position when he did, so I can cut him some slack in terms for his lacklustre performances, Jürgen sees him everyday so he must see something within him to field him from the start, it has been said that perhaps he’s trying too hard and that may be a valid point, however he’s old enough and experienced enough to realise whether or not he’s playing well enough to warrant his place,
With Fabinho back we won’t see the gaps they exploited two weeks ago, so for me I can actually see us putting them to the sword good and proper, a fast start like last time, under the lights at Anfield with our crowd is a completely different kettle of frogs type of experience for them, we were two up within 15, do that again we’re looking perhaps 5 or 6 without reply….. and rub it that horrible Kunt Simeone’s Snouser,
Oh and Not Jürgen’s style but I’d totally blank the Kunt if he attempts a hand shake b4 KO !!!
Going for a very convincing 4-0 drubbing but could very well be more .
