Concentrate on the Premier League until February now.

Let's not get our players injured this time in the meaningless last two games! <cough>Jota</cough>

Shock and awe in that first half.  They just couldn't cope.

That ref has got a bit of an attitude problem.

Job done for us only negative being Firmino limping off.

Atletico sweating now on our team selection against Porto ;D

Think you're fu**ed Diego pal, shouldn't of been a c**t to us for the last 2 years.

      Is Karius eligible for this?

The difference in the 2 managers is there for all to see, Jürgen shakes hands with their players, gives them a pat on the back, Simeone greets his own players at the side of the pitch and completely blanks our players as they go past. If he was the last manager left on the planet that we could get, I’d pass, better off with no manager than him. I have zero respect for him and his style of play.

Good first half, sensible second half.
Stayed in control, done what was necessary and top the group. Made it look easy, and could have been 5.

Very comfortable game against a side who must fancy being at the top table this season.

Gonna give my motm to Ox, because of the huge improvement more than anything, but everyone played well, and Mane such a thorn in their side, they done all they could to get him off the field.
Unbelievable lowest imaginable tactics, clearly coached by the scum of the football world.
Just distracts from the ability of some of his players.
They’ve clearly been dragged down to his despicable level!

Yeah giving himself too much air time not convinced that was a red or that he should be giving Tsimkas and Sadio conversations just to get his face on the gogglebox.

His style along with Atletis antics was giving me a headache for 5 or 10 mins there so in the end the red card calmed everything down and stopped them even bothering to cheat their way to some points.

Commentators tried dismissing the performance because they were down to 10 men. Yes it made it easier but Atletico are no pushovers, they can still hurt you with a player less, they showed that in the first game against us, you still have to be switched on.

Really good controlled performance, shame we didn’t get a couple more goals - a few chances were wasted that should’ve been put away but main thing is it’s job done. In what was meant to be the toughest group, we’ve nailed it so far.

Shame we lost Bobby, not often he’s gone off like that for us.

Absolutely bossed that against a really good side, even before the red we were well in control and looking dangerous but we just managed the game after that.

Thought Mane was great and thought all the midfield had a good game.

Hopefully nothing too serious for Bobby or Ox and just a precaution taking them off.

You don’t get any easy victories against these , but that’s about as easy as it gets , wouldn’t have booed Suarez personally but , that’s how it goes .

Yeah personally I didn’t like that, he remains one of the best I’ve ever seen in a red shirt and gave us one of the most exciting seasons I’ve ever seen.

I hope for the last two group games klopp plays a league cup style team. As few star players as possible.
Last season we lost jota when he didn’t really need to feature.

There will be some levels of rotation, but highly doubt we see a team full of squad and academy players. Klopp has alluded as such in the past and he's not going to put out there a watered down team when fans travel and/or pay a lot of money to attend these games.

      Job done.

Could have had more, but that'll do.

Jota definitely wound a few of theirs up tonight and Salah just seemed to frighten then every time he touched the ball.

Midfield is a different animal when Fab plays.

On reflection, it's a shame that Mane had to be taken off as he was having a great game. But with this dirty side, it had to be. Seemed to be that we weren't all too bothered about much in the 2nd half which is fair enough. Job done, and we were correct to avoid more drama.

Superb 100% in the group. Easy.  ;D
