If we hadn't missed sitters AGAIN ... if we hadn't of let 3 in again  ... ifs,  buts, the refs fault ... bottom line is we arnt good enough.

We were lucky to get a point at Brentford and lucky at home to Brighton. Without alisson we wouldn't be talking about what is now an almost average start to the season ... it would be worse.

OK then what do we do about missing sitters drop them ? Who blamed the ref as I haven't? Average start to the season with injuries we have had absolutely breezed a so called group of death . Further than we have been in Carabou cup and 4 points off top . F**k me mate put it in to perspective .Come back at the end of the season and we will judge it then

UTD are £500mil in debt Chelsea have inter company loans of £1.5 billion God knows about City. Newcastle now come to th eparty but we will get an award for being the most solvent and debt free club

Chelsea and City are bank rolled by a oligarch - for years we looked down on their wins as being “bought”

The Glazers have not put a penny into Utd with everything all on debt and currently a crumbling stadium and team

Ffs - first defeat in months and people start dreaming of oil money or leveraged debt

No thanks - I’ll stick with the way our club is run all day long

Well has 76 points won a title recently? 2 points a game is top 4.

Yea we need to up out ratio over the next group of games.

Chelsea on target for a high 80's tally.

Who says we will just get 2 points a game ? Embarrassing that people have already decided we aren’t winning the title - in fact some saying we will struggle for top 4 now

Not on about CL mate. Dropped points in almost half  our league games ... lucky to draw with Brentford and Brighton in all honesty. If that's not average I don't know what is.

Don't blame injuries. That was pretty much our first 11 out there today.

We have a ageing midfield who are just too slow on the turn Hendo, Fab, Thiago, Milner, Naby all our best midfielders slow.

So when you have games like today when we are sloppy with the ball and it doesn’t stick we are caught in transition with no one able to track back at pace.

Still same issues with low block teams unfortunately.

Yes it was bar Keita and possibly Bobby but injuries have affected people not being able to be rotated and rested and in Fabs case possibly coming back to soon . What do think should be done then to stop this mediocrity?

      Man City – £481.96million
      Man Utd – £422.5million
      Arsenal – £291.36million
      Chelsea – £246.39million
      Tottenham – £167.53million
      Liverpool – £144.38million

this is since 2017 FSG are stealing the club slowly but surely. When they leave we will be a club indebt to the tune of £3billion as all the Sugar daddies are all gone now. You can pretend all is good and we are a force for good but CITY and Chelsea do not have next to their trophies an Asterix saying funded by bad men and we dont have one saying funded by good men. This is a business for them and they cant believe their luck

Not sure what that table Is supposed to say ?

So basically since 2017 three clubs have spent more than us for zero major trophies

1 has spent more than us for the same amount  of major trophies 🤷‍♂️

And why will the club be “in debt to the tune of £3bn”

But all this has been done on the owners thread - this is the match thread , the owners didn’t olay today

As usual, a lot of over reactions after a poor performance / result.  This was our first loss of the season, we are only 4 points off first with 81 still to play for, and we have finished 1st in the hardest CL group with 2 games to spare.  We had a bad day at to office and it seems even worse because it's happened hot on the heels of letting a 2 goal lead slip against Brighton.  But we're still in good shape.  At Christmas last season we looked like we were going to run away with the league, but nothing is easy in this league.  I'm sure we will rebound and will still be in the title conversation come April / May.

I agree. Poor day from a few of our players, but we will be in the running come the end of the season.

Stop shipping 2/3 goals a game might be a start eh.

Get Trent to actually f*cking defend might help too. Too casual and too lazy. Back to basics defensively.

Robbo needs to be taken out. Play the man in form. Maybe switch to 4231 to help fab and protect the defence more ... give minamino a game. He has talent.

How about getting rid of the 4/5 players who are constantly injured and replace them with players who can stay fit for longer than 7 days.

Bringing on firmino in a game against 10 men thats won in a group that's won and getting injured ... lessons not learned from last season obviously. You talk about rotation yet when we get the chance to use squad players we still don't.

Forget the result today ... we fell to pieces last week and we were rubbish today. Mentally we arnt strong enough ... too soft and too fragile. Brentford was poor as well and should and deserved to beat us. The cracks have been there and a couple of 5-0 wins against hapless opposition doesn't paper them over im afraid.

So in a way you are laying the blame very much with Klopp then as the changes you state need to be made to  certain extent are his decisions

Nobody wants to be a city or Chelsea but when one of our key players leaves then most of us expect a replacement, and a f**king realistic one at that, not a f**king 18 year old kid who we signed from Fulham who plays on the wing who we signed in f**king 2019 and then have halfwits on forums tell us he’s the f**king answer.

We’re liverpool for fucks sake. If salah leaves tomorrow then I expect us to go out and f**king buy a decent RW and not be told f**king minamino was his replacement.

F*cked up but we move on. Have to learn and get our sh*t together as conceding too many goals in these types of games.

Unfortunately Alisson was mostly awful today... and when that happens, it goes pear shaped. Plus the fact that our attacking three were not on it, so we failed to make up for his mistakes.

      Ah well..

I can understand players having an off day, but not en block, pretty shocking performance today. too narrow by along shot but they chose to go down the middle. Where was Trent playing, right half midfield?
