Liverpool have made one change to their starting line-up for this afternoon’s Premier League clash at West Ham United.

The sole alteration from the midweek victory over Atletico Madrid sees Andy Robertson replace Kostas Tsimikas in the line-up at the London Stadium.

No idea why thiago can't start this match after a week of training. This is exactly the kind of game for him to get 60 minutes or so in, get on the ball and dictate. I'm not the boss though.

No surprises though with the side other than that. With the chavs result yesterday I'd take a point from this today but 3 would be lovely. Difficult game and a big test for our porous defence. If we are going to win the title its games like this that are the yardstick.

Posted about this in pre match thread think it is a very big test we must take advantage of slip ups from our rivals, especially with Salah and Mane missing games while at the ANC. Concentrate, concentrate, concentration

Tough game ahead.  Would be delighted with three points here as these have been decent all 2021.  Not just a flash in the pan since August.

When we have come under pressure this season we have crumbled ... even when no pressure we have managed to ship goals. Alisson far too busy for my liking.

It's a big one today because if we don't perform then 6 wins from the first 11 games will be an average start. We will also be down to 4th and hanging onto top 4.

Hoping we get that strong focused and concentrated performance today against their attackers and are clinical and not wasteful when the chances arrive. Feels like a big moment in the season this one.

I'd say it's more because the ox is fit and playing well. Use him while he's fit, no reason to rush Thiago back. He can come on for ox 2nd half.  Nice to be able to discuss midfield options tho.

Henderson vs Rice will be huge. Come on Super Captain. AOC is fitter than Thiago at the moment, so Klopp kept the fittest at the moment.

This game scares me. Their front 4 is tough and works hard and our D can be leaky (3 draws in last 5, 7 goals in those draws). MF battle is big. Draw isn't a terrible sadly. Tough game

Probably only question was Thiago/AOC, guess AOC has a bit more sharpness about him having been playing. Morton has impressed in the League Cup, but the PL is a step up, particularly against the form sides.
Know WH have been playing really well, but still fancy us.
