      Thiago was class today.

      Joy to watch.

Thiago used his footballing brain and Ox used his energy.  Both were very good today and both can be better given game time

      Interesting read back  :lmao:

      Written off before hand

Mane , Thiago and Ox just dismissed

Couldn’t see what happened with Arteta and Klopp but it fired up the crowd and seemed to kick the players

Thiago was a joy to watch

Ox was excellent and you can see him growing in confidence, he adds something different in the middle

      Mane - brilliant

TAA , Fabinho superb as well and great to see Taki getting a goal

Klopp teased a touch with the fist pumps 😂

Maybe the wrong thread but it shows the difference between us and the Mancs.
We both needed to show a reaction to a poor pre break performance.
One team came out and thumped a team in form
The other came out and gave another abject performance against a struggling side

Yes they worked very well together with Fabinho at the base.

I've been very critical of Chamberlain lately and have said I think he's done but you never never know.

Basically Jürgen saw Arteta having a go at one of his players and he stood up for him.

Arteta with a completely weird view of the game and including the disallowed goal. he has back tracked on the Mane challenge  .

Ally kickout, Mane went up with Gabriel (I think) for it, Mane's arm was up a bit, but there was nothing really in it, and I think Jürgen thought they were looking for a red, and after Athetico targetting Mane a bit, he got annoyed and they both got pretty animated :)  think it helped us a bit actually, got the place going

Thiago was superb today and got my vote . Some of the passes he did were top class

Yea, deffo, did really well, specially as he hasn't played a lot of games recently.

And for a lad his height, he doesn't half get up in the air challenging for headers, some spring

Yeah Fab was fab, cleared up, desisive challenges, its what he does, But what a player we've got in Thiago, when he's on it,  he bosses it.
Ox made a few great defensive challenges also, but was always there at the other end. Great performance all round in my veiw. Well

Was pretty stale on the pitch & in the ground until the Klopp & Arteta fiasco. After that everyone seemed to get a rocket up their arse.

Superb performance after that. Thought the midfield were immense. Probably a bit of a mismatch on paper but the way they all pressed and intercepted right up until the end was superb.

Faultless performance really. Only real dampener was that we should have really had a couple more. Take a 4-0 anyday though, up the reds!

Yeah, just because he was Pep's assistant at Man City he and the media are playing up to that 'protege'/mini me tag. The reality is, he's nothing like him. He should stop the imitation act and be himself.

Really good today. Thought we did the right thing being fairly patient early on, given we've been a bit open defensively lately. Didn't think Arsenal were really a threat at any stage. As the half went on we cranked it up, especially after the spat on the sidelines. And then we were just way too good for them.

MOTM is tricky. Thiago was great first half. Fab was excellent all game. Mane and Jota were rubbish first half but really good second. I've never been a big fan of Ox but he put in a good shift today, especially some of his defensive stuff. Mo and Trent combined well down the right in the second half. Went for Fab in the end. Main thing though is just a really good all round team performance, under a wee bit of pressure after starting the game 7 behind the Chavs.

Good team performance that, after looking a bit sloppy the first 25 mins, once Arteta kicked off there only looked like one team in it.
Arsenal are utter sh*te, that continued playing out from the back is like watching a team commit suicide.

Two brilliant team goals though from us, the little headers from Tsimikas and Jota for Salah's goal were top class and the passing and movement for Minamino's goal were sublime.

You'd never think we had so many injuries with that superb performance as they purred through the game with such style, what a pleasure to watch the mighty reds when they are in full effect with the red machine.

Some beautiful play through the team and all over the park today and some lovely touches too, could have been so many more but for the superb display of Aaron Ramsdale who played a blinder for the gunners.

I was a bit worried about this match this morning, didn't need to be at all, what a great way to bounce back after the defeat to the hammers, well played lads, great performance all round.

Happily admit I wasn’t confident before kick off, we were on the back of 2 poor results and seemed to lose a bit of grit about our performances and Arsenal were in very good form.

But we blew them away in that second half. We were the better team in the first half too but it was after the break that we really took full control. We could and should have scored more but that’s the only negative I can think of really. Fab and Thiago again worked so well together and it gave Ox the freedom he needed.

After West Ham, there were several players like Alisson, Ox, Fab, Jota etc who really needed to make amends for what was borderline a pathetic performance last time out and they certainly did that. A few took a bit longer than others to really come alive in this game but on the whole, it’s very hard to pick fault with anyone today.

Well in Reds, let’s hope this is a corner turned and we can now see an end to these injuries and get a nice winning run going to catch the Chavs.

On a side note, it seemed Ramsdale was getting far too overconfident with the saves he was making, good to see that was soon put a stop to and then Jota sent him back to Bournemouth.
