I d expect to see Minamino in the starting XI. Origi had a dead leg yesterday but perhaps he will be back? Kounate should play but I'm not sure who else we can bring in.

Yeah, think it's round about £2.5m prize money for each group stage victory, so can't see him throwing all the kids out. That said, we should be able to beat them handily with a few key players out so I would expect a bit of rotation. Nothing too major though

Third reason: respect for the competition, fans and opponents.

Jürgen knows fans are paying big money to attend these games, some of which may be traveling from afar, so I doubt he’ll put out the reserves.

Jürgen must have already been prepared to be responsible if any of our first team players get injured during the remaining group matches. I can see guns blazing at him if we lose any of our key players in the subsequent group matches. Some will call him stubborn as with late or no subs whenever we needed to change players in past games.

Konate, Minamino and Kelleher will come in. I wouldn’t risk Thiago but I think he’ll get the nod.

Salah will probably start too because he’s a machine and he’ll want to continue getting goals in the UCL.

I do t think it will be first 11, but hope it’s reasonably strong as I’ve gone for 3:0 in the predictions. 😂😂

Milly, Keita, Phillips I would all expect to be on at some stage.

Left Origi out on the basis he seemed a way off being able to make the bench vs Arsenal but obviously if fit enough I’d half expect to see him ahead of Mane or Salah….probably Mane because he’s more likely to pick up a booking.

Hopefully Big Nat gets a start alongside Konate since Gomez is hurt. Having 5 subs will also help a lot with early subs for any regulars who may start.

Could use this game as a kind of pre-season warm up, first half play a fairly strong X1, second half change it slightly depending on the score and who Jürgen wants to rest,

Think Jürgen said himself he won't be cutting back too much and more or less play those in and around the first team, perhaps that's why he played one or two of the young lads recently, to get the tuned in to first team action.

Pretty sure he wont take any risks especially with midfielders. But saying that options are limited.
