We owed them one and got it done. Bit shaky in the middle third maybe but thoroughly deserved to win and as Jürgen says it would be boring if there's nothing to improve.

Hendo MOTM by some distance for me. Salah just being Salah and impressed with Jota again. We all know he has a goal in him but it's good to see the rest of his game coming together now - showed some great skill and strength today and Bobby's got his work cut out to get back in this side!

Phenomenal display, even more so when they were posed with a genuine question at the end of that first half by Everton. I thought the second half was utterly sublime in how we controlled it and solidified defensively.

I think that's our best display since Leicester away on Boxing Day two years ago. And one of Jordan Henderson's very best displays in a red shirt. He was amazing.

Before I forget, and probably said this before, Amazon's coverage of the footy is much more enjoyable than BT or Sky.

      It's great.

Just a shame my stream buffered a bit but that could have been my old laptop.

Still Macca does my head in but in general the studio is more enjoyable and the commentary team is an absolute joy compared to the arsehole we normally have to deal with.

Everton Shame on you..Players diving around all over the place. Fans throwing bottles at Allison .Also the fans holding onto ball then waiting till we are shooting to then throw the ball back. And that on the back of the vandalization of the champions wall and other areas of Anfield... Just wish we put a few more past them

And let’s not forget that we sent Everton fans home after 20 minutes, one of the funniest moments of the season!

All they done for those 20mins was boo our players too.

That was a great, tense game to watch. Beyond the 3 points, it was great to go in there and pummel them 4-1 which could have easily been 6-1 after last season. As bad as last year was, the lowest point for me was the derby at Anfield where we came out like zombies when we should have been even more fired up than usual after what they did to us in the first leg. We're halfway there in putting it right this season and today was a statement that they are not in the same league as us.

We have 3 of the top 4 scorers in the league this season. If we could just tighten up the defense a little bit……

That was a no contest. Cut through them easily.

Shame Salah didn't complete a hattrick against them. Shocked nothing was done about the handball against Jota who was through and probably would have scored his 2nd!

Rafa made a terrible choice to go to Everton. Surely gets sacked now.

Great result and looks like no major injuries which is a result against the yard dogs.
