I like the look of him to

He looks like a great prospect for the future. Would certainly like to see him getting more exposure this season and will be a great backup option for when Fab needs a break or gets injured and being 9 years younger would eventually be his replacement as well.

Klopp in The Athletic about Tyler Morton. Says he is more of an 8 than a 6 (where he was needed last season when he played with the first team).

"Another name to add to the mix is academy graduate Tyler Morton, who made his full Premier League debut as a holding midfielder away to Tottenham last December after Liverpool had been rocked by a number of positive COVID-19 tests. His role has since evolved.

It should be a good move. Hopefully he'll emulate Elliott and not Clarkson.

Signed a long term deal today. He's done well on his loan, I've watched him bunch. He looks good in Blackburn. Would love for them to get promoted and let him play for another season with them.

Still not sure if he will ever be a regular here, but time will tell.

We can't catch a break can't we? Even those away from the club get injured. On the bright side, he at least got what is, almost a full season of regular playing time unlike a player like Sepp who got injured just when he was starting to perform well.

Hopefully he's ready for preseason as he is one of those I wanted to watch

Your dad is dead on. He looks like he can play anywhere in the mid and he has a cracking shot at distance. Weak foot banger. Good on set pieces too

Other than Liverpool, I watch no prem games. I love the Championship. My favorite league. In the States we get 4 or 5 games a week on ESPN+.

ESPN+ is actually great value.

You get the Championship, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, NHL, tennis grand slams, etc for a few dollars a month.

Got to admit been enjoying a fewer of the lower league 2 and National league stuff, some decent footy without all the prem level bullshit.

I caught maybe 4 or 5 of their games last season. Whilst he's very good on the ball and has an eye for a pass, he looked a bit slow and not the most robust in the challenges....& that's playing at a level well below the Prem, so I do worry about where his future lies.

Xabi interested in Mortin be a great move for him experience wise

I think it would be a good move this kid has potential.  Yes it is a big step from the championship but if he is up for the challenge then why turn down the opportunity to be coached by a top coach.  Fabio for me is a different situation he was one of them that wanted to climb the ladder to fast wanted it quick wrong mentality.

Not done it in a top tier league or evidence of it but then again neither has Carvalho we did so well out of that deal. Morton just short for me.lacks the pace and energy for that role. 12-15m would.be more realistic

I rate him pretty highly dude. I think he may be part of why we aren't panic buying and getting Stefan go on loan.

He was Dyno a few seasons ago, had a good loan at hull last season, so maybe they think he I ready to be in the mix of all these midfielders we have.

Also he gets in the 8 homegrown list.  And may struggle next season.  This is his big chance as I think next season will congested.

Next season Quansah, Bradley and Elliott will hatch for the list.

So it definitely makes sense giving him his shot to make it. It will be a big challenge for him.

Maybe Morton can be this year's Connor Bradley? We could certainly do with that! If i was the player i'd be pretty gutted not to be allowed to go to Leverkusen so Slot must have earnmarked him for some minutes this season.

Yeah. Think we were right to keep him, will probably need him at some point.

I thinks this kids is going to get playing time this season. Especially in the cups.
