The way Jürgen has been talking about struggling to meet the Xmas PL match commitments, could see him playing even more kids in the EFL.

Super annoying. Was really looking forward to advancing into the se.is and regaining our lead of most titles won in this competition. Klopp never prioritizes these competition, and the Prem will force his hand even more so now......

One of the 3 games he is banned for. But this one is irrelevant really, he was never going to play this match anyway so essentially it's only 2 games he will be missing.

Start with the 9on the bench from Sunday and go from there. I guess Divock is still out?

But Taki, Neco, Kelleher, Ox, Bobby, Joe Gomez should all play.

Like someone about said I'm annoyed with the circumstances around this game now as I'd hoped we could be reasonably strong with the aim of getting to the semis.

We will still have that aim but no way I can see anything other than the kids playing in this game now.

We could sill play a semi decent team. A lot of players need minutes.

Will say no to Milner. He wasn't for to play 90 at the weekend and had nothing left at the end.

Firmino will play, Salah and Mane will be subs I suspect. Backline pretty much picks itself. Milner will play with Ox in midfield as well.

Under different circumstances I could have seen us really heading for a domestic final but with the covid cases and concerns I don't think we will see a mix of first team and young players.

Not ruling the kids out of this but I think it will have the vibe of when our first team were at the Club World Cup in Qatar and we had to cobble a team up for that League Cup game.

Won't be that weak, but it won't be super strong either. With Hendo back in training should he be a choice. Rested last game, and could always go with him on the bench against Leeds. Would be nice to have a MF of him and Mily for this.

You would think they could televise every quarter final though. we pay enough in sky subs etc.

Given how City have dominated this for the last few years and although I don't think anyone really cares about this competition it would be good to win it having gotten to this stage and with City being out, we haven't had as good of a chance as we have this season so I hope we don't just play the kids and forget about it. Every win is vital right now to build momentum and having drawn our game a few days ago, it would be good to get back to winning ways straight away.
