when we started the likes of David Raven

I'd forgot he existed until I saw him walking his kids to Hilbre school when I was taking mine. Done one of those proper double takes.

Tragic that we use up our luck in auch a meaningless game.

F**k me !  If there’s ever a post that tells us that you don’t support or get this club that is it, you used two words in that sentence, Tragic & Meaningless, exactly how most would describe your very existence in this forum.    FUCK OFF !!!

Hands up, who thought we were done and dusted at HT ? I have to admit I did have my doubts, I remember thinking if they score next we’re fu**ed, then I seen the subs and thought nah, this ain’t over, big shout out to the debs, Billy K at the back, Connor B as RB, both did themselves a world of good and a sh*t load of pride, yes mistakes were made that’s how you learn, so well done them,

What a second half though, it’s as if Jürgen just clicked a switch, attack upon attack and hardly let up, played almost entirely in their half, if you ever thought that squad players won’t run through brick walls for Jürgen watch that second half again, another big shout out, this time to Neco Williams, he ran his little Welsh legs off that lad, playing out of position 1st half, and he never gave up right to the death, Trent for midfield ? Neco has more than a decent shout I’d say, fantastic from Neco, didn’t think he had a future here, I’m starting to change my mind,

Taki another player who stepped up last night, I still think he’s a bit of a light weight but again like Neco he never gave up, gave the ball away too many times and flouted his lines once or twice, but he was there when it mattered most and his goal took us to penalties, I honestly thought Jota would have taken that 5th pen, so when Taki stood up I wasn’t too confident, as it proved to be, but I won’t Chuck him under the bus for having the balls to take the pen in the first place,

Caom Kelleher,  what a keeper, to stand in front of those Leicester wankers and take the abuse he did in that shootout, balls of granite that lad, he would be nervous as f**k anyway, even if at the Kop end, to have the nous to concentrate with constant “Booing” in his ears well I can’t imagine, but to then pull off two brilliant saves against all the odds was just super human for such a young relatively inexperienced keeper, and not only that he kept us in the game with great saves and blocks during the 95, absolutely fantastic from the Irish fella, deserves all the plaudits he got.

Naby Keita, please please please stay fit, because this fella is absolutely world class, yes yes I can hear you all saying don’t be so f***in stupid, but IF he can stay fit, stay healthy and has a run in the side we will see more of what we seen last night, now I nor any of you don’t know what Jürgen or Pep said to him but whatever it was it lit a fire under that lad’s arse, and maybe just maybe Naby, the penny has finally dropped, for 48 minutes this lad just ran the show, he grabbed this game by the scruff and just took control, we were a completely different animal to that of the first half, so much so Leicester couldn’t handle us, hence the time wasting, going down with cramp after a hour, yeah f**k off, feigning injury, slow restarts at throw ins, etc but Naby lad just keep doing what you’re doing because that was f***in immense,

What a performance from everyone last night, there is definitely something special about playing at Anfield under the lights on a Wednesday night, it has happened too many times now to be coincidental, did Shanks or Sir Bob die on a Wednesday or something i dunno, but whatever it is someone has bottled it and keeps it for special occasions, if that kind of performance doesn’t fill you with pride for being a Red then you are not human.

Such a privilege to support this club, it truly is, we really are a very special family!!

First half was a bit scary with Koumetio getting dragged all over the place first half to the delight of Vardy. Shored that up bringing on Konate. And with Jota, Bobby and Milner we then began the onslaught. Big ups to Naby lad for constantly encouraging the younger lads around him when he came on, turning into a mouthy f**ker is Naby.

And made up we won the shootout, Schmeichels behaviour before each pen was embarrassing too. Well done Kelleher on the two saves.

Let's tw*t that cockney sh*te again and enjoy a trip to Wembley.

      Prophetic.

Who are you and what have you done with the real LondonRed83?

somebody stole his sofa so he had to watch all the match standing up. It must have felt like an out of body experience being positive during a game he does put himself through it.

Schmeichel's behaviour has always been embarrassing. Loved Jota just standing there and the ref having to play ball boy.
Can't stand Vardy either - him and Madison and all that celebrating against a bunch of kids and less experienced players- got what they deserved with their 'massive covid outbreaks' - Brendan needs to be careful cos his nose is getting bigger

Ha ha! Oddly he's one of those players who I have involuntarily followed his career by accident. I saw him play for Carlisle against Peterborough back in 2008 (was offered tickets to a league game when I was down there so didn't say no, finished 3-3) but then he had a stint with Inverness Caley Thistle for a good bit which being from the north I naturally followed with intrigue (or as much intrigue as you can with a reserve Liverpool player who only played one or two professional games with us) .

      Couple of points.
0-2 up and Leicester fans shouting “who are you, who are you” 😂😂😂 sure know how to embarrass themselves don’t they !
      Kelleher ! What a display,
Mini. Hit and miss performance, but a massive hit when it mattered.
Naby. Long time since I’ve seen an individual have such a massive impact on a game. Breathtaking. Megging Maddison, made Maddison look like an academy player.
Neco, thought we were in trouble when I saw him up top.
      Great performance.
Everyone else, started a bit unsteady, settled down, regained composure and with the subs just took it away second half.
Rogers looked in shock, and was lost for excuses.  Finished up blaming injuries.
You had your best 11 playing ressies and kids you muppet !
He’s now stamped his identity on that side.
15 points a season worse off that when he took over 😂
So putting it all on the cups. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Let’s hope he goes to utd 😊

Another  statement that reinforces for me he will stay beyond 2024, didn’t  he also say he loved them at the start but loves them even more now, something like that, I know it’s early yet but I seriously believe he will stay on, this is his project, his baby if you want and it’s far from over, i can’t see him after all the effort he’s put in that he would just walk away having unfinished business,

they say in life you only live once, that’s wrong, you live every day, you only die once, however, you do only have one life and in that life you make the most of your abilities, i would imagine if Jürgen did walk he would feel deep down he hadn’t fulfilled his ambitions, can’t see him leaving something half arsed do you, Shanks did it didn’t he, he walked and regretted it later, so much so the club had to tell him to stay away, he would turn up at Melwood at training, but the players got confused between who to call boss, Shanks or Bob, anyhoo, the more I think about it the more I convince myself that Jürgen will stay on, I’d put my house on it, …..if I had one 😀

Brilliant comeback to beat Leicester after trailing 1  3, managed to see the penalty shootout in a local pub here in Rhyl, well done the young Reds. Terrific night for fans in the ground.

Isnt that amazing after all hes done, he says this after a league cup quarter final, says it all. I was buzzing but throughout the game I was fired up for it like a champions league semi.

As I said last night, that crowd should get free tickets for a game, together, because they were awesome

Their constant "Feed the Scousers" song was f**king annoying, I like the way some of the Kop singers have decided to re-direct the "F**k The Tories" chant at the anti-scouse sh*te.

Actually missed last nights game, decided to let my brother take my 10 year old nephew, he was buzzing when spoke to him on the phone when they were walking back to the car, got to see his first penalty shoot out. Was made up for him, his second comeback game this season after the Milan CL game!!

Was a good day that Bolton final, still makes me laugh about the old moniker for Wembley "Venue of Legends" even though it was a shithole with toilets overflowing!! Always preferred Cardiff after the first trip there for the Birmingham League Cup final.

      Gobsh***s the lot of them

Maddison got his ass handed to him by Naby megged him and got him booked
