Considering results around us, this covid nonsense and our current form, I’m not expecting a win.

I wouldn't call it an implosion -- VAR awarded a bullshit pen for Betnardo flinging himself to the ground.  That moment changed the game.    It's always hard to compete against City, but it's impossible when they are getting 100% of all the refereeing and VAR decisions....

Wouldn’t say it was a bullshit penalty as that dickhead Granit xchacka clearly pulls on Silva’s shirt,as soon as you pull on a opponent’s shirt in the penalty box you are fu**ed .

The covid bitching is getting to be annoying af. It is what it is. You guys ac like 19 other teams and billions of other people in the world are immune to it and were the only ones affected. I type all this from my basement, while I sit here with me and my 8 YO positive with it.

I hate it as much as yall do. I want to beat Chelsea. I really want to make a Milk Cup final. But for Christ sake, stop this bitching guys.

Officials & var are far to inconsistent, if it was as black and white as a shirt pull then fine but it's not it's the interpretation by an individual or two in some cases. Commentary even picked up the var telling the ref he's pulled his shirt before the referral to monitor! Fair enough but you've got to send the arsenal peno claim to the monitor as well so the ref has another look himself

If it was one of our lads we be told they purposely placed the jersey in the defenders hand to try and win the peno

      Yes.

Same as with us when Robbo's tackle is reviewed but Harry Kane's is not

      No consistency

But I don’t see other teams with such obviously wrong decisions. There are a few marginals which could go either way but there seems a determination to give us nothing !

There’s 2 officials in particular that I find we continuously get screwed by; David Coote and Paul Tierney. Unfortunately the latter will be on VAR for this game so expect some more wrong decisions.

Atkinson was no better but at least he’s retired now.

And that, in a nutshell, is what is wrong with VAR. The system itself is fine but the way it's used and more pertinently the people using it is where the problems arise. Every single time.

Really hope to beat the Chavs today, difficult to make a prediction with so many absentees in the side. A win and 3 points giving a moral boost to the players.

Yeah this. The starting 11 is a lottery of covid.
Just hope we’ve got enough to beat these. Not overly confident of a midfield of Hendo, Millie and Ox, but not sure if we’ve got any options. Hope they prove me wrong 😬

Everyone on the field is just waiting to get infected. More so for those who are unvaccinated. Even those who had been infected before are not spared as they can catch the virus again.
