Stronger team that I thought we would have tbh.
But Chelsea look strong as well considering Tuchel has been making out he has only kids to pick from.

I would take a point here, and if I’m being totally honest this feels like a ‘Battle for 2nd’ now.

Question. Any reason we have not brought one of the young forward players in the squad. God forbid we lose a couple from the front 3 be no harm having an actual forward on the bench

      Good point.

I thought I seen Gordon on the bench but must have imagined it

Milner playing for his energy against the likes of Kante and Mount - also to cover TAA imo

      Massive run?

You do realise we will be without Mo, Mane, and Naby for the next month?

Miracle run more like to catch City now.

Dont worry FSG are waiting in the wings with some world class signings to give Jürgen a chance of competing for the rest of the season.

Oh to have all Chelsea 's problems eh.

Happy with the team. Obviously quite a few missing. I'd have had keita in over milner ... but maybe and unsurprisingly there is an injury issue/worry with keita.

Thankful salah and Mane are available for this as I'm not sure what the front 3 would have been.

Tough game. Lots of pace up top for them. Hopefully we can play well and get the points. A clean sheet is vital. We need that defensive base today.

Chambo would go up there in that scenario

Or if must a change of formation in game

Need front three to finish their chances today, that’s the key.
Mane 9 games without a goal? Can’t believe it.

Keita , Ox and Jones are sitting on the bench plus young Morton

We are just missing Thiago from the midfield

Says a bit about our squad depth that we still pick Milner after recent performances. Gone for experience and grit over creativity. But I like our chances still. Time to bounce back.

We could be a threat from set pieces today.
Whoever takes them it’s important they beat the first man as we do have a bit of height.
Even Fabinho could add in on that.

I think 2-2 looking at those teams.

No attacker on the bench is obviously not great but not a lot we can do about that.

Still a strong team but I’m struggling to get Milner over keita…

Don’t think it’s overstating it to say our title challenge could be over in a couple of hours so as usual I’m going to be an absolute state all game

I think Milner is there because he’s reliable and klopp likes that.
Keita, ox and Jones are anything bit reliable and probably still need minutes before starting again.

Also, if we are chasing the game, keita, ox and Jones gives us options where as Milner coming on in that situation would make no sense...

Tough when an away match at Chelsea is a must win, but if we've title aspirations, need to starting winning a string of matches.

Strong XI, should match them physically, maybe missing a little creativity in the middle, but need to compete first, so fair enough.

We have the quality to win. but not if we perform like against Leicester, need a better performance than that.

Huge game for kelleher to come into, but it's good he's had the experience of the Cup and those games under his belt. And Matip I guess the other covid person, but Konate a good man to come in.

Mane, Jota, Salah up front, there's goals there. Would be great if something would drop nice for one of em, think an early goal would really settle them, and us :)

Think with Naby it's about trust around his defensive role which Milner clearly gives. No doubt Naby is the better player and more offensive but playing these probably wants to keep it tight. No doubt Naby will.be on second half
