If I had a gun to my head and told to predict, it’d have to be 1-1, hopefully my hypothetical self takes a bullet to the head and we thrash them.

Think with Naby it's about trust around his defensive role which Milner clearly gives. No doubt Naby is the better player and more offensive but playing these probably wants to keep it tight. No doubt Naby will.be on second half

It’s a tough game that’s going to be tight - midfield is a key battle where they will prob swamp with numbers - Milner covers a lot of ground.

I personally am fine with Milner, as long as he does milner stuff. Running and disturbing their buildup. Then we can get Keita on at 70th min.

One of the best in the coaching business. Behind a successful manager is an excellent team of management staff. We tend to take people like Peter and Pep for granted.

We don’t play again In the league until 16th Jan, at which point if city beat Chelsea it’s game over, so this unfortunately is a must win. I think the reds will be up for this

He speaks very well and you can see why Klopp has him as number 2

Would have certainly started Keita. Milner can sometimes surprise me though.

A point wouldn’t be a bad result and I think it keeps us in the race. It’s just frustrating because we have 1 point in our last two games. I’m gonna go for a 2-2 draw but wouldn’t be shocked if we won. Chelsea aren’t always all that and can be very negative. Unfortunately, they can be hard to break down, and that’s why I wanted Keita in the team. Milner is probably there to aid Tsimikas.

      Massive run?

You do realise we will be without Mo, Mane, and Naby for the next month?

Miracle run more like to catch City now.

In terms of the league I think they'll only be missing for Palace and Brentford. Reckon people are making more of a deal about this African Cup of Nations than it actually is. On paper the likes of Jota, Firmino and Minamino / Origi should be more than enough needed up top against those two sides

Pity one of those has covid and 2 of them are injured. But yes hopefully they will be available.

Anything from this will be hard earned. I think City are away and gone so without looking at this one through the prism of catching them anything earned here will be greatly accepted. Especially given the circumstances around it from our POV with players and our manager not available.

      Konate worries me.

10 day isolation for Covid which started the other day so Firmino would be back for our next fixture. Minamino is a minor injury so expect him to be back too. Not really sure about Origi as there's not been much said about it

How come they keep saying this is the first time there's been safe standing in the Premier League for 30 years? There's been rail seating at Anfield (and I think a few other grounds) now since August

Last time he played was Milan away I think. Not heard much about it either. Bizarre.

Firmino will need 2 full training sessions when he is back to be considered. Minamino a minor thing ... ive heard that plenty of times with our players and minor things seem to take weeks sometimes so it's wait and see with minamino. I like him ... wish he was given more chances and with Mo and sadio away this is his opportunity.
