Well if we can't compete with City then unfortunately it is.

I'm not a FSG basher it's not really their fault, but it does look like they have taken us as far as they can due to sheik/oil baron owners and non existent FFP rules.

Unless rules change City will win the next 8 out of 10 seasons.

bu tthey said we could compete with anyone in this league was this a lie just to appease the fans. What they meant was as long as we cansell players lik eCouthino we can compete but dont expect us to invest in our business you fans need to stump up

Technically the Leicester game in the cup was a draw. This is now a 4 game winless run with a tonne of goals conceded at the same time. This is what we were seeing around this time last year. We can’t play until mid December and then decide to fall apart.

Missed today’s game which i guess it was a good thing. Looks like we don’t have the wherewithal to hold a lead and will be the reason if we don’t win the league.

Coughing up a 2 goal lead is inexcusable and we have dropped massive amount of points from a winning position.

Don't think we played for the draw Dan. I just think Chelsea overpowered us.

Our midfield is just not good enough anymore.

I think Henderson is on the wane as well. He has spent more time trying to be a f**king spokesman or politician the last couple of months, shut your f**king c**t and focus on your job of captaining Liverpool you woke c**t!

There is a saying, EVERYTHING WOKE TURNS TO sh*t!

What an absolute tool .sticking up for the nhs, players welfare  etc makes him woke. What's your contribution to society,  absolutely F**k all. If you want to have a go at someone for their football that's one thing but if you are going to spout sh*te like that you need a grip of reality

They could provide more financial support but ultimately, it’s not them on the pitch making brainless decisions and costing goals.

We do, we’ve proven it, it was only the season before last we ran away with the league. Our problem is we don’t have the ability to defend a lead. 6 times we’ve failed to win a game when being in front.

Don’t know if it’s a mindset thing or what but things aren’t right this season.

Throwing away 2 goal leads on multiple occasions just simply isn’t good enough.

I hate to say it, but that season was the perfect storm. We stayed healthy, had some huge luck (most we made on our own) and City had injuries. Sadly that's what it will take nowadays to win the league if you don't spend. I wouldn't bank on all that happening for any team often

Same with Rashford at United. Good kid but it’s definitely affected his football, although he’s always been overrated, he’ll still be seen as a ‘future star’ when he’s 30.

I dont think raising some money for hungry kids and asking people to stop being racist has anything to do with it really.

Just on the finger pointing at the owners. We can also ask has Jürgen been to loyal to players and perhaps had the chance to bring players in but chose to stay with what he had?

City’s money has nothing to do with us not being able to hold a lead.

It has nothing to do with giving up the lead 3x at Brentford, or against Spurs, or against Brighton or against Chelsea today.

That’s our own doing and our own fault.

Need city to essentially lose a minimum of 3 games now if, and that’s a big if, we win our game in hand.

Anyone thinks that’s possible is kidding themselves unfortunately.

      What a miserable 3 games it’s been.

Imagine having players on the pitch not making brainless decision, have to be provided by the club..

We do have the right personnel, experience and technical skills to win the league. But we’ve made many mistakes along the way. As rightly pointed out by our boss, we need to be perfect to win this league. Together with some dodgy officiating, it’s now more difficult but not impossible though.

Gave the lead up twice vs City too.

Still yet to win a game without Thiago starting. He has been a huge loss for us.

Take City out of the equation (as they are away and gone) its a decent point that.

We fought til the end and although we played too many balls over the top looking for counters for my liking, we left our mark on the gane and deserved the point.

F**k off this is Liverpool FC take City out of the equation wtf are you on about. Honestly why not pack in now and just award City everything. City have something like 10 more [players available of sufficient quality than we have . If this mob dont want this club to challenge the best in the league then F**k off their lack of investment is a disgrace when you see the value of the club talk about epic swindle

I 100% believe this to be the case as it's how he works.

Very loyal to his players and likes a smallish squad. Always has been like this as far as I'm aware
