Sir Sidney Poitier, first Black man to win an Oscar for best actor, dies aged 94.

RIP, great actor, loved him in many films, esp Sneakers.

I remember him best in, To Sir With Love although it's been many years since I watched it. I didn't even know about, In the heat of the Night; it goes on the list.

Yeah seen that recently one night, Rod Steiger is superb as the racist cop.
Also seen that To Sir With Love, the hattrick would be Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. All three fims starred Poitier and came out the same year.

Never knew Sidney also directed Stir Crazy.

So sad to hear of the passing of a legend of Liverpool FC.
Peter Robinson, he was a pivotal figure behind the scenes at Anfield back in the day, him and John Smith were the Michael Edwards of today, there will be many people mourning his death.
