Very average performance, felt more like a pre-season game but into the next round we go where we will no doubt get Chelsea away.

Good result and a good draw. Can't see any of the big boys going out in the next round. All easy ties.

Pleased for kaide today getting his first senior goal and at the kop end too.

Missed the game. Apart from being in round 4 and big positives? Young lads do ok?

They’re barely 18, but the number of academy players who go on to become first team players isn’t very high.

That we have Gordon and Morton who look like they’ll make it to the big show is already impressive.

So true. If you pluck one or two out of that side and progress them to the senior team then it's great news for the Academy.

I'd love to see Morton progress as a long term replacement for Fabinho. Such a difficult role to get right but he may have the tools to do it.

Well taken goals probably the only real positive of note. None of the youngsters really stood out as anything special but they were ok. It was just all very pre-season IMO.

Woltman looked completely out of his depth, probably the only performance out of the youngsters that was a bit concerning, likely why he got taken off at half time.

Yes was fairly quiet but not easy being the focal point against a deep lying block just couldn't get involved

Took a while to get going. Was never a great performance but done enough. Kids done ok, no real disappointments and into the next round.

Cardiff at Anfield should be winnable but perhaps a slightly stronger starting 11 to get the job done !

Pleased we won today, not because we're in the 4th round, but because hopefully we've caused a little pain to the nazi MP of Shrewsbury, plus some of their fans are cu*nts too.

Totally. Their keeper spoke about it and against it therefore, even them they knew it.

Gordon if he gets bigger or stronger, he can have a good career.

      Onto the next round.

It was outside the side entrance to the Adelphi. There is a couple of vids knocking around of some of their fans making comments near to the divide with the Kenny D stand.

Love how it's supposed to be a minority. I'd say it's a little bit more than a minority that come out with sh*t about us and Hillsborough. It's widespread in this country.

I dont understand anyone doing that but with the bitterness/hatred with some clubs you could say it stems from that, but F***ing shrewsbury!! Really?? And Id say most of the tw*ts were not even born at the time of Hillsborough.

It annoys me no end, and nothing a good kicking wouldnt help solve. Thankfully for everyone of these bellends theres 100 who pay their respects outside the ground

It's just people's attitudes about Scousers, it's F***ing ingrained and has been since the days of Thatcher.

Your bang on about thatcher mate ,having worked the length & breadth of the country for nearly 40 years I can honestly say I’ve had plenty of first hand experience of the hatred for us scousers & it goes way beyond football as well.

Yep - all my family are scousers and I’ve heard it my whole life and you still get those that talk down on the city without ever having visited in their life. Agree with Huyton, it’s not a minority in the UK, you can just tell when chatting to someone about anything Liverpool related that they hold certain views on the people and the city.

Well all I can say to the scousers among you on here is simply, f**k them

Does Liverpool have its issues? It 100% does like every city and town across the globe has. But Ive yet to travel outside of my country and find a more genuine and friendly race iof people. By far and away the majority of scousers are salt of the earth who would brighten up your day if in their company

Again like any city there are parts a bit rough on the eye but there are parts of that city pure stunning.

Anyway dont need me to tell yiz, anyone putting Liverpool and its people down have either never been or just have an inbred hatred for whatever reason, either way its there loss
