So for thursdays game, were defo missing Salah, Mane & Naby lad due to AFCON.

Then Elliott, Thiago & Origi are all still injured.

      Possibly Trent (Covid)

So should be able to field a pretty strong team, something like this ?

      -------------- Allison -----------------
      - Williams - Konate - VVD - Robbo -
      ---------------- Fab ------------------
      ----- Hendo ----------- Jones\Taki--
      ------- OX ---- Bobbi ---- Jota ------

      Yeah looks good mate

Any news on Robbo? Tackle on him yesterday was a heavy one that forced him off

Wouldn’t use Taki in midfield, I’d play him where Chambo is in your line up to get him some rhythm up there for next few weeks

Any news yet on which players are allowed back in due to false positives?

                                        Kellerher

      Trent/Williams   Vvd            Konate         Robertson

                  Henderson     Fabinho    Chamberlain

          Minamino               Firmino                      Jota

Pretty much impossible to know who is available apart from the Afcon players and long term injured.

I'd expect Williams to play ... but who knows. Covid dictates everything these days.

How in the world is Divock still injured? was it in training? because i don't remember him getting any knocks last time he played.

Hopefully Gordon makes the bench and gets some minutes. Ditto Morton.

Just into Tuesday so match still nearly 3 days away.
No idea who will or won’t be available by then.
Just go as strong as poss from who’s available, get it won, then give the kids a few minutes !

No doubt arse will go low block and try counter, hooding to keep our score down for the return.
Think it’s gonna be a difficult game myself, but confident we’ll win it. Just not too many kids Jürgen, they will probably go full strength as it’s their only trophy chance now.

They look lost in the MF without Partey and Xhaka. Partey gone to Africa and Xhaka missed with injury and covid Sunday. Xhaka isn't nearly as good as Partey, but he does bring their young MF experience. The good thing if he plays is you always know you're one second away from him having a brain fart. The MF Lovern.

Smith Rowe and Tomiatsu may miss too. With all the changes it could make the game very unpredictable.

Allison is available, but Kelleher likely to stay in goals as he's been the league cup goalie.

Joe Gomez was shockingly bad last time I remember him playing. I don't know if it's rust or his injuries have just done him in, but I'd say he is facing a battle tk save his career at the moment, at least in terms of playing at the highest level. Sorry to see it, but I would have to see major improvement on the training ground before he's picked again for Liverpool.
