Just finished watching on recording, having shielded myself from knowing the result so I'm just now buzzing over this.

May I just say, "JĆ¼rgen Klopp, tactically speaking, had Mikel Arteta's eggs for breakfast."

Put another way, JĆ¼rgen Klopp didn't just screw Mikel Arteta, he cut his pecker off!

He's just an instinctive poacher.  Always in the right place, always looking to pull the trigger -- left foot, right foot, headers -- absolutely lethal in front of goal.  Sure, he misses sometimes, but he's got a short memory and doesn't let those missed chances affect his confidence.  Always feel like he's got a goal in him!!

;D those goals were anything but poacher goals brilliant piece of skill and mastery of his own on both occasions.

What a result, this team apart from Jota knows what finals are, and we played the way we needed to play.

      We need this trophy massively.

      Well done team.

Love the team celebration when var confirmed the goal :)

It just shows what a happy dressing room we have got, there does not appear to be any animosity whatsoever among the players and when we put young lads out they are encouraged by the senior players 100%

I did read someone say that Jones isnā€™t good enough 😂😂😂😂

He was playing against a team with 4 attacking midfielders in their midfield 5 ya blirt. One good game every 10 doesnā€™t make him a top player and I notice you still havenā€™t taken me up on my bet? Shithouse.

Trust you to be a dick head on a night he actually performed really well and we got to a final. How you havenā€™t been banned yet I donā€™t know. Youā€™re just a wum. I donā€™t want to sit and slag Curtis Jones off for his past performances when he shone in this game and it was a great night for us so do everyone a favour mate, F**k off you sad little c**t.

Anyway, great night, great performance. Found it rather amusing that the commentary were getting all excited over arsenal having a go in the first ten minutes until we showed them who was boss and just took the piss in all honesty.

Weā€™re obviously far superior to them but I didnā€™t expect us to turn up at their place in the second leg of a semi final and control the game we did. Especially without some key players and Jones and Gordon starting. It was an outstanding performance.

Although he didnā€™t have much to do, I think serious praise needs to go to kelleher. Whenever he starts there seems to be a panic amongst reds but I canā€™t ever remember him putting a foot wrong. Itā€™s actually Alisson who is the dodgy one who keeps us on our toes :lmao: ... Iā€™m not saying kelleher should be our number 1 before somebody takes what I said too serious. But yeah, kelleher, great keeper. Weā€™ll do well if we keep hold of him as backup because heā€™s good enough to be number 1 for almost every prem team.

Shame this post started by me biting to some tit who was after just that, a bite, because heā€™s a meff with no life who comes on here looking to piss people off, but another special mention to Curtis Jones who was superb.

Get the F**k in reds. Tell me ma I donā€™t want no tea.

Fantastic win and performance, personally I think JĆ¼rgen has given them a rocket indoors, the performance levels last two games are through the roof, yes of course we miss Mo, Mane & Naby lad, but it looked as though we felt sorry for ourselves without them, much better against Brentford and again last night we were superb,
Goons gave what they could first 15, after that we were all over them, everyone to a tee gave their all, biggest shout outs though go to Curtis, Jota & Trent, like Cass I gave my MoM to Trent, last couple of seasons heā€™s been immense, but this season for me heā€™s stepped up a gear, his passing, his crossing and in particular his vision is outstanding, he is easily, easily the best attacking RB this side of the Andromeda galaxy, and he will get better, and that is f***in scary, Curtis Jones hasnā€™t been at his best even before his injury, but last two games he has started to show how good the lad is, he was brilliant last night but without the spotlight, we all noticed him but rarely did any pundits, hardly a mention for the lad, but we all know different donā€™t we, and just when you thought Diogo was letting us down when we needed him most up he pops with two cracking goals, especially that second, that deft little flip over the keeper was simply world class, but hang on a minute take a look at the vision & the on a sixpence pass from Trent,

Outstanding from both, like H, another big shout out to Kelleher, heā€™s right yannoā€™s, we have a very very good No2, in fact heā€™s probably too good a No2, Iā€™m going to keep calling him Kelleher because I canā€™t pronounce his first name nor fookin spell it, bloody Welsh,  :f_whistle:, anyhoo brilliant brilliant win, well done Redmen.

You stated that Jones wasnā€™t good enough - when youā€™re proved wrong then you will get called out for it - if you canā€™t handle your opinion being challenged and being called out when your wrong then donā€™t post sh*t.

And Iā€™m not sure why i would be banned all for having an opposing opinion that you canā€™t handle

      Hi Billy1,
Great to see you posting again, welcome back, there is no animosity your right Billy, there hasnā€™t been since JĆ¼rgen came in, itā€™s why we keep coming back from adversity, you will know better than I that a lot of the success we had during the 70ā€™s and through to the 90ā€™s was down to the camaraderie we had in the dressing room, the sense of humour and the piss taking, slightly different in todayā€™s changing room I guess but the togetherness is most definitely there, itā€™s a fact that JĆ¼rgen has  similar socialist views to that of Shanks, in that he believes we are better together all fighting for the same goals, so as to share the rewards at the end of the day, in a nut shell, thatā€™s us all over, you can throw all the money you want at buying your success but you will never beat a team built like a machine with all its moving parts in unison, we have no egoā€™s, we are as one, and we will succeed.

Itā€™s superb - all driven down from the manager , the mentality of them all itā€™s excellent, can see the team going on a great run now , even more so when the AFCON lads come back after two more games.

This team of ours deserves so much credit!!!

No Salah, Mane, Keita, Thiago; Ali benched, a poor performance/result at home in the 1st leg to hand them the initiative.

They postpone a tough, physical NL Derby the weekend to get maximum rest/preparation and we cruise past them for another date at out second home!

Jota has been yet another signing of a decent player who becomes world class under JĆ¼rgen's stewardship; the boy has goals in him for sure.

Love our club, love our manager, love all our players!

Let's turn those King's road f###ers over the end of Feb & get back to the top of the league cup tree!

      COME ON YOU MIGHTY REDS!!!!

Played very well last night thought after the first 10 min we dominated the whole game. A couple of good saves from the keeper defence was sound and when we got the chances we took them. Get in reds

I thought they had been better than us until we scored. After that we were better than them, so first half was about even overall I thought. Second half we bossed.

Do you want me to quote you every single time Jones has a poor game then? Because Iā€™ll be doing it far more than youā€™ll be doing it to me. But as I said I donā€™t want to take anything away from him, or us, after such a great night. It just shows what a massive tit you are.

Jones wonā€™t be at liverpool for his whole career. He will never be a regular for us. Because he isnā€™t good enough. But youā€™re that sad you come chasing after me when heā€™s had a good game. F**k me, Jay F***ing spearing and joe F***ing allen also had plenty of good games for us but neither of those two were good enough either. The list goes on.

And Iā€™m surprised you havenā€™t been banned because you spend every free minute of your pathetic life on these boards looking to wind people up or argue. Youā€™re a wum. Iā€™ve told you probably half a dozen times now to leg it and stop quoting me or make references to me yet, here we are, again. Clearly you havenā€™t got a bird, or any mates and you sit in your maā€™s box room arguing with people on the internet 24-7. Sad dick head.

Canā€™t tell if this is sarcastic or youā€™re actually being serious. Arsenal started well for the first 5-10 minutes and then it was complete domination from us.

Commentators tend to get a bit carried away and go over the top when the underdog manages a shot on goal against a team much better than them and that was the case last night.
