Thought he wasn't getting picked for the Brazil team anymore?

Damn it, he could use some rest.

Definitely  selected but just seen he is banned for the first game . Bobby has not been selected

Yes, plenty of people have been proven wrong......horribly wrong.

All those who kept saying we lacked quality depth and that we were fu**ed come AFCON because we were too dependent on Mo scoring were wrong....completely wrong.....and proven as such by the performances this month....we had 7 different players score in the 5 games since AFCON, including 4 by our DM and 4 by Taki, Ox and Gordon. THAT is quality depth when you need it.

That almost none of those people have bothered to show up and give credit to those depth players they kept putting down is no surprise because it'd be indirectly admitting they were wrong, but we all know if the shoe was on the other foot, and we had gotten dropped out of the FA Cup, League Cup and dropped points in the league, that the board would be raging from those same people.

Dude, Mane & Mo have carried this them with their goals… they have only been away for a few games & you think we got to the Cup final, CL knockout stages, 2nd in the league & the FA cup without them…

      Give your noggin a wobble..

We've coped well with AFCON no doubt, probably better than most thought. I'd been a bit worried about loosing Salah and Mane, though I deffo wouldn't have bought a striker just cause they would be away for several weeks.
Been a team effort imho. Ally and Kelleher have been really good, Jota stepped up,  Jones coming back in has given a bit more balance to the middle, Fab scoring 4 goals who'd have thought, AOC got a couple.
And obviously Jürgen directing it all.

      So yes, it's been great.
But does that mean that'll be an end to discussions about investing in squad depth .. no.

      And neither should it.

Sensible discussion about improving the squad should always happen.

Problem is a lot of the discussion on that subject has been far from sensible.

Should always been discussions about investing in the team , that shouldn’t stop , but got to be sensible

Good to go into the break with a win away at Crystal Palace. Nice to see Ox on the scoresheet not forgetting the assist from Robertson. It is good to see players from all positions chipping in with important goals including VVD.

And a stellar performance from the man in goal. Keeps the wheels turning and gives us all a better feeling going into the break. Well in red men!

FFS  all this bloody fuss about the penalty, even without it we would have won anyway 2-1

All teams get pens sometimes that are a bit dubious, swings and roundabouts over a long season, get over it media....

Delight to see the result. So easy to go there and not get a result so to run out 3-1 winners was lovely. Got a bit of a sight on City for the first time in a long time.

Watching MOTD, we are very lucky that goal stood. Firmino clearly offside occupying the defender who could have gone up against Ox.
Got away with one today, Palace should've had 5 or 6. Maybe the game that we all look back on if we do win it at the end of the season. And Jürgen and Virgil, just drop back 5-10 yards and all the defensive problems go away.

We get enough dodgy decisions against us, today we got a couple ,big shout for Ally (MOTM) and Robbo.
We just got to keep getting 3 pts this Premiership could go right to the very last game , when we take 3 pts of them and win the game in hand it's all to play for .
They're last 3 games are Newcastle (h) West Ham (a) and Villa (h) with Stevie
Our last 3 are Spurs (h) Southampton(a) and Wolves (h) lots of fun to be had on the run in

Think you’ve been taken in by the pundits there paulow.
If Bobby doesn’t jump, that defender ain’t going anywhere. He’s still gonna be hanging on Bobbys coat tails, and Ox is still gonna be free behind him.

As for the pen. Next time Ronaldo or Kane go diving as someone brushes their shirt sleeve , they’ll be saying
“ it’s deffo a pen, there was contact”

You have to realise, there’s always a different opinion from them when it’s Liverpool.
Them wankers are as inconsistent as the refs.

Yes, just a lovely combination of passes and movement off the ball. Great stuff.
