He works hard...but then everyone in his position should. Someone said it in this thread earlier but flatters to deceive perfectly describes him.

Honestly he came with so much promise and seemed to be that box of tricks different option for our forward line but for me even though he has good games and isn't a bad footballer I think his place in the squad could be better utilised.

Holds on to the ball too long and does his turn this way turn that way till I don't know what I am doing move too much.

Love the effort but needs to provide more output consistently.

Great pace but I've said it before.....

How man F***ing times does he cut in and shoot a weak arse shot, from the edge of the box, straight down the keepers throat. Catching practise.

And Mane grew as a player once he joined us as well and became the World Class forward he was with us.

Especially after the injury, had pace to burn down the wing before, seems to struggle to get out of third gear at the moment.

I don't hide the fact I think he's boss so it'll come as no surprise that I'm gonna defend him here, his graft is unquestionable. His versatility has been on display a few times this year, playing across the front three as well as both full back positions. He's always looking to get at people, sometimes it's frustrating because he holds on to the ball too long at times but he's always trying. Either cutting across the park or going down on the outside of the full back.

But one thing I really think he has that benefits the team is he occupies the opposition. Very rarely do defenders just leave him with all the space in the world, which in turn creates a bit more space for others.

I still firmly believe he's our best option on the left as well. Jota is wasted out there and needs to be central as does Nunez in my opinion. And Gakpo has just fell down the pecking order right now.

Happy he got a goal after all my internal/external complaining about him.

Regardless of his all round play if he can keep scoring consistently that will do nicely.

Diaz gets a lot of stick from supporters, some of it warranted, others go OTT.

A lot love to boast the importance of Jones' off the ball work when he isn't as effective on the ball, but when it comes to Diaz (whose arguably works as hard as anyone in the team) they neglect this.

He's had problems within his family which no doubt affected him for a month or so, he's had to play with a LB who's inverted and left isolated against 2-3 defenders every time.....now Robbo's back you see he's able to mix it up again, a bit of link up play on the flank and other times he's drifting more central closer to Darwin.

He's starting to come good again, couple of games in a row now. Hopefully this form continues because he can be an absolute menace when on song.

Thought he was excellent last night.

Doesn't half get the credit he deserves which is quite sad to see, all because he's not Sadio Mane.

Absolute machine. So good at driving us up the pitch and keeping hold of the ball, you never see him knocked off or easily dispossessed. If Bradley and Harvey finish their chances then on another day he comes away with 2 assists. Can never find distance covered for players but if I could I'm sure I'd see Diaz and Endo at the top for every game.

Generally we don't flog out players on the market like bait on the end of a fishing rod to see who'll come calling, if a club shows interest in one of our players like Diaz and offers an amount we can't refuse then it's likely he'll leave.

Why would we sell Diaz if Mo stays? Clearly we are not overloaded with options. We have Mo now  and would be in serious trouble if we didn't also have Diaz.

Can't see any senior players leaving this summer, I reckon all will stay around to give the new guy a fair crack.

Only fringe guys will maybe leave, kellher perhaps if this Celtic thing is true. ?
