Genuine question, has he ever had a bad game for us? I seriously don't think he has... What an amazing player, and he seems to be a nice bloke as well.

ran himself into the ground today he was shattered but what a shift he put in. He must think this winning cups is easy

His start to life at Liverpool reminds me so much of Suarez. So much quality, an instant lift to the squad but unlucky in front of goal.

Was fantastic again today.

Really unlucky not to get a goal.

He'll run all day for this club, reminds me of the energy Dirk Kuyt had for this club, but even better, imagine how good he'll be with a pre-season and full season under his belt...awesome, lots to look forward to.

He is the complete package, isn't he? relentlessness of Bobby, trickery of Suarez, and finesse of Coutinho. What a signing!

I'm so glad that Luis is a Red.     

Brilliant signing, adding a new dimension to the side. It feels as if Luis would run through a brick wall to score for the reds. Certainly has a bright future at the club !

Agreed - Diaz is so dynamic and like Robbo and Trent (and Mane and Salah) he really runs at players, which is great to see.  I'd love to see a bit more of that in the middle of the pitch too... but heh, what do I know from the cheap seats.  I just agree he is a great signing.

Reminds me the first couple of months of Suarez, where some shots he would try wouldn't always come off, then something clicks and goals for fun.

He has that same never give up attitude as well, defo another star in the making.

How many goals do we think is in this fella? He certainly finds himself in enough threatening positions. Do we reckon his role will transform into something more central?

I recall Suarez for the first year or so being criticised for his finishing then exploded into life a couple of years into his Liverpool tenure. Now - I'm not saying Diaz will turn into Suarez (that is some ceiling!) but what do we think he's capable of when it comes to the scoresheet? Do we think Diaz's role will change?
