Didn't see his goal today but good on the lad.

I'm sure other clubs are taking notice.

Didn't we sell Wilson to Fulham in the summer and agreed to not receive payment before a certain amount of time had passed to help them with their money problems? Pretty sure they will return the favour and honour the deal already in place.

The only place it could go wrong is inside the player's head if the foreign clubs come knocking early in the summer but my guess is if we had agreed personal terms with him then he must've spoken to our people (and maybe even Klopp) and he was convinced of the project and his place in it so I wouldn't stress too much about that.

You would think there’s not a more attractive prospect to a young player in world football than us.

What would Earling Haaland think? Hmm...

His agent is Raiola isn't it? So I doubt Haaland does any thinking for himself.

As 7KK& pointed out, i don't think he does much of the thinking. He does what Raiola is telling him his next move is.

I think it's safe to say he's established now,
where as the other point is referring to young "up and coming" players.

Halaand and Bellingham no doubt stick out because they are at Dortmund.
They'll also be big money transfers when the time arrives.

Smart deals, like getting the next version of them before the big move is more FSG's style.

Fabio Carvalho selected for Portugal Under-21s despite 22 Young Lions caps.
Carvalho was born in the Torres Vedras district of Lisbon in August 2002.
The playmaker spent three years with Benfica's youth system before a season with Balham in South-West London then got him snapped up by the Cottagers in 2014.
He signed a pro contract with Fulham in May 2020, making his senior debut four months later.

This season, in the Championship, Carvalho has starred with seven goals and six assists in 27 matches.

Some noise (on twitter admittedly) that we have reached an agreement in principle to sign him this summer.

I'd imagine that agreement is the one we agreed with him back in January.

Seemed inevitable, Klopp never discusses player transfers in interviews but he did with this lad back in January so was only a matter of time.

So is he one for the future or does this kid walk in to start, next season?

Only heard the hype about this transfer, know nothing of how he plays.

He'll probably be involved with the 1st team immediately, albeit most likely in a squad role starting with cup games and building on from there.

Milners deal expires this year and Mane, Salah, Ox, and Keita will only have 12 months left so it seems inevitable that there will be a couple of outgoings in the midfield and forward positions this summer, which will open up some minutes for him.

Straight into the squad much like Elliott.

Definitely going to result in the departure of Ox IMO.

Fab, Thaigo, Hendo, Elliott, Jones, Carvalho, Keita and possibly Milner.
