Looks like the club want this tied up this window as well.

Buy with loan back I'd guess.

Rumour is Barcelona has come sniffing but cannot afford to buy him now, so it would make sense to try and close the deal as soon as possible.

Dear lord please let this be true.

Morton, Jones, Elliott and Carvahlo would be an amazing core of midfielders for the future.

Have you seen this kid play lads? To match his superb technical ability he has an immense work rate he's everything Klopp loves in a player.

If this goes through our squad will be bursting with creative attacking talent for years!

Not sure this one will happen, seems we have put in a bid but Fulham boss Marco Silva has said recently Carvalho will be staying with them till the end of the season. Still, looks like we're testing their resolve with a bid. With the interest in the kid it seems they'll lose him for nothing in June.

As for the player only seen glimpses but he looks like a brilliant talent. Would love for us to get him, whether that's now or in June.

If a deal was to happen, I’d expect he would stay with Fulham on loan until the end of the season.

True, then I suppose it comes down to how confident we'd be in getting him as a free agent with competion Vs how much we'd be willing to pay to be sure of it. Not sure the latter is an FSG type move but if the fee isn't too high I could see that happening.

Even on a 'free', we'd still have to pay a few millions (usually decided by a tribunal unless the 2 clubs agree on a fee). On the other hand, if the player decides to go to Barcelona at the end of his contract, I believe Fulham wouldn't get a cent (please someone correct me if I'm wrong).

Which means Fulham has every interest in getting a deal signed with us right now, probably at a lower price.

If we got him on a free this summer there would still be a tribunal fee due. For Elliott the fee was set at up to £4.3m, which took over 6 months in the courts and even longer before money started to roll in. Fulham will probably be keen to avoid that drawn-out process and thus appear amenable to a straightforward cash bid now. It would be a win-win, as both clubs avoid tribunal, while Liverpool may end up paying only slightly more than a tribunal fee would be, but secure the player 6 months early so as to not risk his head being turned by other clubs.

He looks absolutely superb! Wow, what a talent and I can see Klopp putting faith in him like he does with Elliot. Let’s get this over the line.

      Gordon 1,73m
      Elliott 1,70m
      Carvalho 1,70m

Keep this up and our midfield and attack is going to be made up exclusively of midgets... good thing Diaz looks like a taller lad at 1,80  ;D

Jota is 1,78m and still manages to score plenty of headers. We'll be fine. :)

Rumors on twatter are saying that Fulham owe us Harry wilson money, and if we sign him this window then we will loan him back to fulham for rest of the season to sweeten the deal. So they may go for it.

He looks more of a Coutinho type player - someone to sit a little deeper of the front three

      Yep.

Most advanced of a midfield three should seem to suit him.

It's always where I thought Coutinho was at his best as well.
