All I'm going to say is that I hope Curtis and Thiago help Fabinho out tonight.

That does involve not getting a yellow card inside the first ten minutes.

Surprised Luis Diaz is getting thrown into it all so quickly as well.   Klopp must be either desperate or very impressed.  Let's hope it's the latter.  Looking forward to Salah coming on and smashing one in.  Been a while since he took a penalty.....

Not terribly surprised to see Salah on the bench, though i still imagine he'll get 30mins at the end and then back in the starting lineup the next game.

I am surprised to see Jones ahead of Naby. Big show of trust by Jürgen on the kid and let's hope he repays it with a strong performance.

Overall a very strong lineup.

Hope Hendo is OK, maybe will be back at the weekend, has been playing a lot of games.
Interesting that Jürgen going with Jones who got a bit of stick the last day out, but good to see Jürgen keep faith.
Thiago hasn't had that many minutes so good to see him back and is felt ready to start.
Bit surprised to see Diaz in the first XI, but I guess Jürgen feels games will get him up to speed faster than training work, and that he's ready for it. Really looking forward to seeing him for a bit longer, if can get a poxy stream to work.
Salah on the bench if goals needed, not a bad option

Choosing Diaz over Minamino should be a clear sign for Minamino that Jürgen does not think highly of him. Diaz is fresh and not accustomed with our system. Nobody, not even Diaz, would complain about Minamino gettin the job. This must sting the little Japanese.

Jürgen keeping the faith in Curtis which is good, the onus is now on Curtis to prove he can hack it at this level, Curtis isn’t stupid he knows he’s not first choice, he’s nearer 5th/6th if he’s honest with himself, so he has to grab this opportunity and put a good and proper shift in,

Great to have Thiago back pulling the strings and with Bobby sat in the hole he can orchestrate attacks with Jota & Diaz, with Fabinho as DM and a tried and trusted back 5 this is a very good side and one of hundreds  of options at our disposal, and this particular one is too good for these fox murdering wankstains,

Really really really hope we put these fuckers to the sword tonight and hand their smarmy arses on a plate,

With Mane not available and Salah on the bench, it was clear Diaz was going to start. Minamino knows he was 6th choice up front and now 7th with the arrival of Diaz.

Don’t get your logic, Diaz is miles better than Taki, and he needs to play in the system to get used to it,stop looking for sh*t it isn’t there, Taki is a squad player and he knows it, Diaz is looking to play each week and probably  will even if it’s off the bench, best Taki can hope for is a place on the bench with no guarantee of getting on !
