Well, this looks legitimate, if it is.. I like it, but will need to see it in the flesh.

      I like this colour. Class.

And I love seeing us in green or yellow. It reminds me of the Carlsberg kits we had.

I was really not fussed about the new home kit. Haven't had one for a couple of seasons, they didn't really grab me, and the lad ended up with the yellow away because he preferred it... but saw the new one in the flesh and it's bloody lovely. Just simple with a nice cut.. was bothered about the sleeve cuffs till I noticed the ynwa motif, nice subtle touch, and they aren't actually constrictive or tight, so I've no issue.

I’m not a buyer or wearer of replica shirts, only ever take my scarf.
But this one, yeah could see myself wearing that to the pub to watch the game.
My mates would think I’d gone senile after all these years not wearing kne 😂

Talks Nike are considering making a new kit every 2 years to help with carbon omissions, maybe like the old days of new home kit one year, then the next year a new away etc... I'd be all for it, as long as the kit is decent.

I reckon they should be alternating it year 1 new home kit, year 2 new away kit would possibly sell more shirts maybe?

Something definately needs to change, the price of kits now is ridiculous to be paying just once a year, never mind on multiple kits per year. But will things change? I doubt it because too much money will be lost, the clubs/brands will lose a lot of money if they stopped releasing 2-3 new kits a season.

Regarding the upcoming season and the new kits, they're nicer than last seasons. First home kit by Nike that I've actually liked.

Will be hard to top the away kit.
The home kit is tidy though.
I think even my kids are getting LFC kit burnout though.
First year they've not really wanted something.
They've probably 4 kits over the last few years though.

No one is forcing people to buy kits though so who cares how often they change them?

Some people will complain we don’t spend enough on transfers and then they’ll also complain that stuff like kits cost too much….always wondered where we are supposed to make our money if we are to sell our tickets and kits cheap.

Of course no one is forcing people to buy kits but it’s a market isn’t it, people, especially kids want the latest kits and it leads to people spending money on them.

I couldn’t give the slightest damn how much we spend on transfers, I’m more interested in signing the right player rather than a big money profile, makes no odds to me if we pay 4mill or 40mill for a player.

We make a large amount of money through TV money so I don’t buy the whole tickets/shirts angle there, why do you think there was so much uproar when they tried to up the price of tickets a few years ago and so many people disagreeing with it.

When I was a kid/teen, I’d get all 3 kits every season and they were £30-£40 each. Key thing is finding the right balance and if you think £70+ (Or £210+ if you were to get all 3) for a football shirt that will be changed 10 months later is well balanced then that’s up to you, we all make our own judgements. Club would probably sell more shirts if they were say £50 each and in turn likely make more money because with the cost of living being so high now, less people will be able to afford them at £70 each.

My two oldest got their kits delivered today. £15 each. It's great this internet thing.

Personally it's not about the 3 new kits every season, we have a choice to buy them or not.
Teams and shirt makers of the big clubs will never go back to 2 year cycles as the buzz and advertising it creates for both Liverpool and Nike out weighs the sense.

It takes people to their club shops which results in sales of other stuff as well as kits.

It's pricey yes, but we still have a choice where our money goes! Personally I buy retro now as they're timeless 😁

They will as stated regarding carbon emissions.
No brand wants to be seen as denying climate change.

Plus the fuckers extract enough money out of supporters!!
