Thiago Alcantara returns to the starting line-up as Liverpool make five changes for this evening’s Premier League meeting with Leeds United.

The Spain midfielder is named in the XI at Anfield, with Fabinho and Curtis Jones also coming back into the team.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson are restored in the full-back berths, with Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, Joe Gomez and Kostas Tsimikas the players making way from the weekend win over Norwich City.

Gutted not to be there tonight - got a feeling it's going to be a big one.

Incredibly strong team we've put out. On paper we should be beating these comfortably, especially after their physical slog on Sunday against United, but I've got this little feeling we might be in for a mad 90 minutes of football. Still confident of the win, but I've just got a feeling it might not be as routine as what we're used to

Excited to see how Jones plays in a trio with two world class midfielders. He's had a bit of stick lately (a lot of it unwarranted I thought) so hopefully he can prove the doubters wrong tonight.

For me, our strongest XI currently, bar Hendo <--> Jones.
Diaz certainly not getting a gradual intro, he's in at the deep end and seems to be swimming OK so far
