Can’t remember a positive ball from Hendo the midfield was poor today and it’s been like that to often lately, but for poor finishing from West Ham …..Just watch how many times Hendo plays the ball back to whoever has passed it to him

He had to play those safe balls today and playing those positive balls only for some to inevitably fall to the feet of a West Ham defender would only have exposed us even more to West Ham's counter attack. I could see your point if we didn't have a sight of goal all game but the fact is we had plenty of sights on goal. That was on the attacking line to make the most of it and in all honesty they didn't quite do that. With Mane's goal they JUST got away with it.

Hendo's safety, security and runs were critical for us today.

Good win. Thought the pundits were over-egging West Ham's chances a bit. Lanzini's one they should have scored from right enough, but their other "missed chances" were actually stopped by some good committed defending from us. Our strikers were a bit off it with their final ball or we would have had the second goal. (Even then I'd give credit to good defending by West Ham.) Most of our team played pretty well.

Henderson and Keita were really good, Fabinho struggled a little with the physicality of Antonio (we always struggle against him anyway)

2nd half was pretty poor but we got the vital 3 points and another clean sheet so that’s the main thing.

Was at a family 40th today on my wife's side with a bunch of knob end Utd supporters all hoping City beat them tomorrow. What a bunch of cu*ts..anyway tough game today don't think anyone thought it was going to be an easy 3 points but 3 it is and we move on..YNWA

I reckon we'll see a few changes for Tuesday and maybe a few more if we go up a goal. Tie isn't completely dusted yet but it's good to have a lead.

Thought Konate had an alright game to be honest, some good moments and some not so good. Konate’s biggest problem today was you could see he was really focussing on our defensive line and as a result wasn’t tracking players that he should have been in the right moments but that’s a case of adjusting to our system still IMO. There was one moment in particular think Konate done well - Antonio tried to knock the ball past him and bully his way around Konate but he wasn’t having any of it and easily won the ball back for us.

Doesn’t help West Ham don’t really have any grace to their attacking, it’s very much in your face, wrecking ball, bundle your way through opposition players kind of play and it does disrupt defences.

First half I thought we were actually pretty good and looked comfortable. But 2nd half was a lot different, lots of players switching off and not really on their game.

Was an off game for Salah for sure, not much really came off for him.

Couldnt watch the game live, but i got to watch the game now. It wasnt pretty but we won and we got the three points. A team that wins trophies regularly manages to win games even when playing bad and we werent good today. At the end of the day, it doesnt matter because we managed to get the three points.

You can see how far we have come under JK, a game like this used to be where we let in one or two late goals and we would have been raging on how typical it is for us. Under JK we have developed this winning mentality where we dont stop working our ass off. We cant be looking great winning every game, so wins like these counts more imo.

One thing i noticed today was that Mo was trying too hard. He had a huge chance in the start of the game and he was on target. They had done their homework and fabianski dived before Mo had taken a shot. It wasnt a bad finish. It was a really good one, it was going in and Mo forced a save.
After that chance, Mo was trying too hard. He was dribbling and forcing everything to redeem himself.

Great performance from the lads. Naby did really well, big Iba too. Diaz was dangerous.
