Tough 3 points ,we are a different side with Thiago playing, then again Rice out for them was a huge bonus, all in all we march on, these sort of games are what its all about ,its how Premierships are won  its tough, nerve racking painful football with the odd bit of magic Diaz was magnificent today a real bright spark , nothing much to enjoy just grateful for the final whistle and the points  ,character building some would say

Trent saved us yesterday. What an assist as usual and what a defensive performance. Clearance after clearance.

Naby Keita as well. Diaz what a signing.

Hard fought win, it could have went both sides with so many chances from both teams.

Come on Reds. Now I hope that Aresnal win so to skip Utd and put more insentive into Utd to get a result.

To many poor performers today Salah Hendo Robo the likes of ketia Fab we’re not great but a win and three points

That’s the hallmark of a champions - still winning while facing a difficult opposition.

So we need better players and is it time to phase these players out?

So happy with the 3 points - like B Zamora said last night during the analysis, maybe it’s good that we struggled and will get us back to the drawing board and keep feet on the ground.

What a footballer the kid is. Gets some stick for his defending sometimes, but on the other hand he gets a crazy number of assists for a FB. And WHAT a passer of the ball.

Another 3 points in a hard fought win against West Ham yesterday. I gave TAA man of the match, for his latest assist and goal line clearance. Keep this winning run going and who knows we could still overtake City in the title race.

A decidedly average performance where we had Ali to Mane all off kilter and one or two above average but still well below  usual standards, thought the pace of the game was too slow and we missed creativity from midfield, at times we had Mane Diaz and Mo coming deep to find the ball, that isn’t right, although we do sometimes see this when we’re playing well also,

I expected a tough time of it and that’s exactly what we got Rice or no Rice, we missed Thiago, or a Harvey and most definitely a Bobby for which this type of game was perfect for, we’d lose Mane or Diaz but we would gain a better penetration, fair play to Hammers the had a go rather parking the double decker and that kept us on our raggedy toes

If we’re all honest we got away with that today, had Lanzini not bottled it we would have dropped points and the neg heads knives would have come out in a frenzy, we’ve had games like this before, we will have again, it’s what Champions do, we get taken through the mill and back again and still come away with points, 3 in this case, pressure is with the camel jockeys of Eastlands, one wee slip and they’ll smell our breath and it’s fiery,

In a funny sort of way it was a helpful performance, we were due a bad one, recent performances have been superb, and we’re only just descending from cloud Nine after the final, so get the bad one out of the way before Internazionale visit on Tuesday and restore normality in the CL,

Lots shouting for Diaz as motm, and he is a good shout, but I’m giving mine to Trent, up to 16 assists already this season and we’re barely half way through, phenomenal from remember predominately a RB, another assist for Mane’s tap in but that clearance off the line saved our bacon, felt like we had scored when he got to that, awesome from Trent,

We got that thing again haven’t we, that feeling of invincibility we had when we won the title in 19/20, we had some sticky moments in games that campaign too, and the season before when we missed out by 11cm, fine margins and all of that, this one will be no different, bound to be a few bumps in the road before May, so to will Citeh, but we are better equipped to deal with those bumps than what they are and that is why we will win No 20, like I said before I like where we are, 3 behind breathing down their necks, applying the pressure, and as we tick off each game we win the pressure mounts, keep it going until that game, the against us and they Will Crack, and Pep blows a gasket, and the title and hopefully the CL too, and we can sail off into the wind with bag full of silver.

The bestest ugliest win so far this season, I’ll take it ?

Can only judge by what I saw on motd.
They generally like to emphasise on our opponents near misses, and exclaim what might have been.
What I saw was a difficult game, as we all knew it would be, but with hammers not getting any more clear cut chances than us over the 90 mins.
We put one away, and they didn’t.
3 points and move on. Trent motm for me.

And on to todays games. If Arse win, utd NEED to win to stay in contention for top 4.
I expect a war with utd winning as city don’t like the physical. Expect lots of whinging snd whining to the ref. Lots of collapses snd rolling round on the floor. And utd nicking it 😂

He basically admitted it was a miss-hit shot.   :lmao: But it's still an assist!   ;)

No Ronaldo or Cavani for  United today.  I reckon that helps United's chances. But I expect City to win.

That's OK though, because they won't beat us.

You are getting soft Ruth dear.  NO phasing. Set all misperformers for immediate release and purchase twice as many players for twice what you would have gotten. Transfer windows be damned. Pay the necessary "fees" to get the authorities to look the other way.

Another tough game this week with Inter, and it doesn’t get easier going to BHA next Saturday. That home game against them this season was disappointing to say the least. They do play well against us.

If they do, they are out of the Champions League.

      2-3 Arsenal 88th min.

Looked at their starting 11, and if ever there was a side fielded to lose, this is it.
      1:0 down already as well.
Won’t stop us though, just F**k up their CL spot for next season, so won’t attract any decent manager 😂😂
Anyway why we talking about this sh*te on here.
      F**k off.
