As Garry Neville just said 'there's absolutely no effort from Manure'. I wonder why! A team fighting to finish top four, gives it away so LFC won't get any advantage. Shame shame shame Manure. You are pathetic!!!!

Apparently Ronaldo flew to Portugal the day of the game. Cavani trained three days then said he couldn't play. Something going on there.

I think their overinflated egos, wouldn’t allow them to look second best, so they jumped ship.
Who would want them on their side if you were in trouble ?

With 5 home wins in a row against West Ham and just 1 loss at home against them in 60 years, it seems strange that we would describe beating them at home as hard fought. No matter what he throws at us, Moyes still can't win here.

There's not much to say about the game itself, apart from great striker's instinct by Mane to make the run and get the winner. Fantastic achievement also by VVD to reach 60 home league games not out. The win means no opponent can take 6 points from us this season.

It was our first and only home league game of the month. Now it's off on tour to Brighton Arsenal and Forest, before Hodgson is back in town, and the run in begins.
