Think Tim Sherwood pips Merson to that for me. Some of the bollocks he comes out with is unbelievable.

Tim Sherwood makes Paul Merson look like Albert Einstein. What's worse is that Sherwood was actually a Premier League manager for a short while.

That said, I'm not hearing what Merson is saying so probably best to leave it at that.

Brilliantly efficient and ruthless. Matip was immense I thought, snuffing out danger with astute reading of the game. He's such a gangly fella yet he is so assured. Thiago more than made up for that intercepted backpass with the assist for Jota and for being a composed presence in midfield. Jota goal felt so typical as he couldn't really have don't much else from that angle but get off a direct, quick sharp shot at the near post and hope it would catch the goalie out, which of course it did  Bobby is just a genius, love the fella and thought he was a major reason for our dominance 2nd half. What a win!

Loved Robbo saying that he agreed with Bernardo Silva in regards to City still being in the driving seat. Very smartly & subtly slipped in.
 

On paper that was a tougher match.
In my head that was a tougher match.
First half was an even match.
Second half, good try Lego head, but second half totally out classed. Out thought. Out fought. Out subbed. Out played and completely put back with the also rans.

i think Merson made some valid points actually. City are capable of easily winning 9 on the bounce. We have to essentially win another 9 games (after already winning 9 games in a row)
