Decent workman like performance, not got out of third gear yet and we don’t really need to, we’re obviously not at our free flowing best but we are doing enough, I would definitely up the pace though that’s way too slow for my liking, stand outs for me are Bobby & Thiago, Bobby tracks back well and breaks play up, and Thiago with his passing intelligence is a joy,

It’s alway slow after a int break, so I’m not expecting a classic, we’re probably lucky it’s not City or Chavs we’re playing, so therefore we don’t need that level of intensity, what we do need though is to up the tempo and make them work harder, could do with a second for a cushion and a third for the kill, then we can consider swapping things around, Trent will need game time before Tuesday as will Diaz & Mane so I’m expecting those to be our subs today.

Scrappy half but got the important first goal. Have to question why Jones got the start ahead of Elliott, particularly with Trent on the bench. Thiago and Bobby have been the pick of the bunch so far. I'd hope to see Elliott on for Jones before long and if we get ourselves another goal it would not surprise if Trent came on and Gomez push inside to CB.

Think you will struggle to see Elliott unless you watch the U23s

Lad just does not have a football brain, does he? On his weak foot, from distance and opts to shoot rather than to play in Robertson in acres of space who could have put in a dangerous cross.

Clearly a talented lad, but f**k me, frustrating as hell to watch him play and make the wrong decisions over and over again.

Gets a great opportunity against Watford to play himself into form, some valuable game time and just like Oxlade-Charmberlain flatters to deceive so often.
