Cheers..London is in fact probably the best football City in the World.There are 13 professional clubs in the Capital, more than in any other city so good on yer for resisting supporting one of them. As it happens Brentford would be the club from the smoke than I like to see do well. Thanks mate.

Spent much of the last 4 years in London and I would never call London a football city. Too many gentrified types who know f**k all about the sport so it's a non starter in terms of conversation (and any attempts by them to show they 'get' the sport just feels a bit of a try hard attempt to get in touch 'with the common man'... 'I wanna live like common people') .

You can go into every pub in Glasgow or Liverpool and talk football. Every hour of the day, every day of the week. You most certainly can't do that in London.

Agreed. In terms of passion and humour , Liverpool is hard to beat but to be fair I have had some cracking banter in London and deffo in Portsmouth, where my daughter lives.

Might "kick off" today..I mean won't be a barney or anything, only ever see the odd shuve or face off. Sterling might get bounced but with the intensity could be yellow cards aplenty.
