In the league In the last 5 seasons the aggregate score at their place is 13-3….. but we go there with the best squad in my lifetime. 2 days out and I’m absolutely bricking it….

Boss might just go with Nabby over Thiago..could be Nabby presses better than Thiago. But Thiago can pick a pass but he can also spray a loose one now and then. Nabby might also offer a bit more goal threat. Probably go Thiago but wouldn't be surprised if Nabby gets the nod.

If Tiago is reminded of his defensive re  asponssbilities as well, he’d be the complete midfielder.
      He’s 98% that now 😊

Front three I'd start Diaz simply because he's unknown to them.
Played against them (& scored!) a couple of times in Europe for Porto, so they'll be well aware of him.

Pure footballer, sees a pass. Yes and will probably start but we need to be at them in every area from the off. Cut off the space. The game is as much about who works harder as it is who scores the great goals.

"Leave nothing out there" should be our aim. They're a great footballing team, pass it to death, we have to stop that.
Going head to head in a purely creative let the best team win ethic sounds and is great but we have to out work them first.

I would say KDB and Bernardo. Foden has arguably had a better season than Mane and Firmino too.

The rest I would not swap for any of our players.

NONE,  yes KDB is class but I prefer Thiago, he just seems the perfect fit, his style more suited to Jürgen’s philosophy, I’m sure KDB could adjust from working with Pep to working with Jürgen, but I’m not so sure we would be as prolific , I’m probably talking bollocks and just can’t see anything other than Red, cos the Belgian is pretty damn good too, nah, for me I’ll stick with Thiago, he just makes it look so easy, and that’s a sign of world class right there.

I don't enjoy saying this, but I'd actually have KDB over the captain right now. Hendo has been a bit 'hit and miss' ever since we won the title. De Bruyne brings the same energy, but creates more...

Probably helps his case that he is a decent guy as well, unlike most of that City squad.

Heart says a win obviously but my head says a 1-1. We don't want to throw caution to the wind trying to nick it. It stays in their hands if it's a draw but they have drawn against Soton and Crystal Palace. They have just stuttered a bit so if it's a draw nothing has been decided.
