Going to be listening on radio in the car for this after a weekend away with the family. Gutted.

Bad timing London for a weekend away,
      I feel for you.

Surprised at the suggestions Konate should start ahead of Matip. He's played well but the understanding between Virgil and Matip is almost perfect. We need the defence to keep the understanding due to the high line we play. Matip has more experience and I know Klopp prefers this partnership.

I'm sure Klopp wants us to start much much better than we did at Anfield, it was a horrific first half, and we need to get them on the back foot.

Need to score a goal in the first five minutes and another in the next five minutes. We cannot allow them to have any possession. ;D

Matip absolutely sensational this season, so of course he gets the nod.

It’s going to be a gut wrenching game, as always I’m thinking of all the worst possible scenarios including a heavy defeat or last minute winning goal for city.

Very curious to see Jürgen's tactic. I still hope he will play rather Tottenham-esque: park the bus and sting like a bee (and we have bigger buses and nastier bees than Tottenham!). I do not think it is good to give City spaces and they will get it once we press high or want to go 50% to 50% in ball possession. But of course we never play this kind of football which makes it a riskier move.

I used to be like that when I was younger and all the spawny last minute goals the Red half of Manchester used to get against us back in the day. I used to sulk or be in a bad mood about the whole damn thing, then I saw the light and despite what Shanks said there are more important things in life.
Do I still care, Hell yea, I just deal with it better so I know the feeling fella.

I would love that mindset. I think it’s in my genes considering my dad (arsenal fan) was in a terrible mood last night. It’s in our blood ha ha.

In 2014, when we beat City with the late Coutinho goal, how many points did it put us in first by back then?

Hands in ears blah blah blah, don't want to know, I remember what followed!!

Of course mate, my old man is Persian, his best pal (who passed away a long time ago) gave me a Candy Liverpool shirt for my birthday (88 or 89) as kind of a joke against my dad. I loved that top and started supporting Liverpool there and then

I'd take it right now. I mean we play against the best team in the world - aside from us - on their pitch. Who would not take a draw when 7 games remaining?

Take a 0 0 now if I thought we were going to be pinned back for 90 mins or play most of the game with 10 men

The 10 men part we just dont know if that will be the case, but we do know for sure we wont pinned back, if anything well be 50/50 at worst, and having a better attack I have us as slight favourites. So while 0 0, or any draw isnt a disaster, it certainly isnt a result Id settle for now to be honest

Just think how these lads have developed as a team these last few years nothing phases them and they can win ugly or win big. Whilst it may be a tight game we have players for that type of game.
I expect Jürgen to throw Pep a curve ball with his selection today.
Just thing this is a good stage for these lads to show who they are after being robbed of the title by a spawny point then to win it without a crowd they deserve to be Champions in front of the Kop and a full adoring Anfield.

I think a draw here gives City more momentum than we can afford to give.

Let's go for the win and make sure we shatter their confidence for the rest of the season.

Cheers..London is in fact probably the best football City in the World. There are 13 professional clubs in the Capital, more than in any other city so good on yer for resisting supporting one of them. As it happens Brentford would be the club from the smoke than I like to see do well. Thanks mate.

I live close to White City so should support QPR really. My wife’s family are all West Ham and want to take my son games as a season ticket holder - so we’ll see what happens.
