Great result for us considering we were second best at almost everything today.

Hopefully that Mahrez miss at the end is what clinches the title.

Fab putting in his worst performance in a red shirt was not a great look.

Definitely agree with this. "I'd rather be lucky than good" is the sporting maxim that comes to mind.

Which is why I totally disagree with the comms on American TV (La Saux and Dixon) when they said that the result suits City. They missesd their chance to go 4 points clear and to me the pressure is squarely on them. The only positive for them is being a point up still, but with seven games remaining, that is NOTHING. We got a break today and I feel no reason to be sorry about it. We have every chance now to win the league. GET IN!

Fab didn’t have a good game, maybe one of the worst he’s had for us, but at least he nailed that weedy little rat Bernardo Silva. Just a shame it wasn’t a bit harder to inflict an actual injury on the horrible little c**t.

Yes, one hammering of Bernardo is worth five misplaced passes. Works for me.

An assist (or two?) and defensively covered for Trent most of the game. He played superb today.

Ok, made me thinking. Yes, he did work defensively more than usual. Maybe he was better than I thought.

made me proud of Jürgen and the lads. How many saves did Ali have to make or how many off the line clearances did we make ?.
This was the best team or the most expensive team in the world including a £100mil sub and we pressed them time and time again and could have won without our two most damaging players looking off their best by a long way.
Can't wait for next week I think we will tear them apart

Watching the replay of the game, i think that last-second shot by Mahrez at the end was tipped to send it over the cross bar.

for all the hype does anyone remember Foden doing a great deal or  DeBruyne doing much more than scoring a deflected goal.
Our midfield were very very disciplined and also got some flak on here but overall they did a good job a job Jürgen sent them out their to do

Happy with the draw given the way the game unfolded. A defeat would have killed us. I thought it was all over when Sterling went through. Pity we couldn't build on our good form early second half when we had them rattled and thought we should have played with greater circumspection at times.

They won't be gutted but a win would've obviously given them breathing space. They face a big pressure game in the second leg V Atletico. Then they've got us again on the Sundee..could have only the Prem left if their not careful.

We should have won it at Anfield but it finished 2-2. Vice versa now at the Etihad.

I thought it was the best any team has ever played against a full strength us once the Klopp machine got going. They were brilliant in so many ways, most effective in their pressing from blindspots. It screwed our midfiled rhythm. But we fought like hell, much better second half, but I always felt we were hanging on to their coatails in a way I never experienced before. We've had big losses against Pep before but for that there were always the most obvious reasons. I've never seen anyone play so well against us, the best level of us, at least as the game progressed. Pep's best City is now, I think.

We once had an even better version.

Everytime I watch him he's like this generations Gerrard only Stevie was even better.

He does remind me of Gerrard, deceptively quick, always makes the right decision, power and precision in shooting.

I guess the only thing Gerrard had over him was his defensive ability.

also look at DeBuyne plays with and look at Stevies team mates in 2005 Gerrard is in my opinion unique and unchallenged.

Liverpool supporter to apparently which makes it hard to dislike the lad. To be fair as a Liverpool supporter you should always appreciate quality unless they come from the other side of Manchester

He always respects Liverpool, seems to get on really well with Klopp, Salah and VVD. Not a bad word to say about KDB.

Different story for a lot of those rats though - including B Silva, Sterling and Foden (I literally can’t stand Foden’s face and haircut, makes me sick just looking at him)

      100% Bri.

He has that look about him in the way that he plays but Gerrard was a level above again.
