Just realised, it's typical of our damn luck that the first time Jesus scores in about a year had to come against us didn't it. Frustrating that every other game he does sod all.

      At least it wasn't Sterling.

Ideally we want city through, but to pick up lots and lots of niggly injuries that will keep players out for a month or so.   :lmao: :lmao:

Couldn’t agree more. Plus KDB getting another deflected shot against us.

      Cu*ts

Not only a deflection but it went in off the post

True, was relieved when his goal was ruled out because recently he's been getting goals and assists against us. City scoring is bad enough, but Sterling or Silva getting the goal is about as bad as it can get.

I think Fabinho and Thiago were very poor. Both could have received a red card. Luckily we were solid enough to get the draw but with both of them at their best, we would have been much much better , I think they were really poor.

Agree with you about Fabinho but thought Thiago played well. Certainly in the first half, seemed like the only one able to get any sort of a hold in the game

      Quote from Harrisimo
We must rest Mo. He didn't play badly by any means but the spark is not quite there. It's fatigue for sure. A rest would be beneficial all round. Our pressing game doesn't do him any favours within this situation. Obviously a great goal would release the pressure.

He goes hell for leather after everything and in a sense we have to protect him from himself a bit. Fatigue can cause injury.

He set up the equaliser. The assist had to be perfect for the goal to be scored, which it was. He appears to have gone from a candidate for the Ballon d'Or to a candidate for the bench in no time. I'm not worried about him. He's still scored way more goals this season than anyone else.

I would have taken a point before the game, and I would have definitely taken it at half time, so I can't complain when that's what we got. We're the first team to get a result against City from a losing position this season, and it was the least we deserved. All we can do now is win every other game and see if it's enough. We've closed the gap from 14 points to 1. All we need is 1 more favour, just 1. Not much to ask, is it?
