If Coutinho scores and gets Villa a point at the Etihad all the sh*t he pulled off to get his move to Barcelona will be forgiven.

Cant see a last minute goal with Villa chasing the ball, City will just hold on to the ball and suffocate Villa. But if that situation happens, it would be a fairytale, and some payback.

I really think Villa need to score first. Citys strength is scoring very early very fast and then just get the opposition to chase and tire themselves out. Gerrard needs to get the team to keep it tight at the start.

If Stevie wins us the league, the club should see that he’ll be given a premier league winners’ medal which he’d never won. After all, we dug ourselves out and needed him to deliver the final blow to get us over the line. He can get over his slip and we’ll all have a fairytale ending.

Fernandinho is overdue a red card and giving away penalty. Hope it's next Sunday. Of course, we need to win both our games. Glad GD highly unlikely.

Yes the karmic pay back to Coutinho, even with him just being at Villa, is priceless.  He owes us for sure.

I would guess that winning our two remaining games and Villa getting a result at City is about as likely as us coming back from a 14 point deficit to be where we are now. Not impossible but a very long shot. Hopefully that long shot is a Coutinho screamer into the top corner past Ederson.

The league isn't really a pressure situation for us any more as it's almost fully City's to f*ck up. If we just go about our business and play our game we will give them the chance to f*ck it up on the final day. That's all we can do.The main and overriding target should be winning the EC. It would be the crowning glory. Let's make it happen.

So do we rotate the team vs Saints or play our first choice XI?

Have to play a strong team now. If city had won Klopp would of put reserves out for sure.

After 120 minutes and only 2 full days between games there will have to be rotation, but the team should still be strong enough for a win.

                    Alisson
      Gomez Rhys Matip Kostas
                     Milner
           Elliott           Jones

Is it correct that the saints are safe and have nothing much to play for, apart from trying to win their last home game of the season?

Rest players. City will play Villa at home. I don't think so.

      Alisson
      Gomez-Matip-Konate-Tsi
      Ox-Milner-Jones
      Jota-Minamino-Origi

That team there is good enough to win vs. Saints and these guys should be extramotivated to lay an own hand towards a potential title. At the same time it is reasonable to rest important players, the odds are just against us and VVD/Salah injuries have shown that the tank becomes dangerously empty. You wanna focus on the silverware you can control to win. Then next Sunday play the very 11 you plan to play against RM.

Play kids against Burnley, lose. Everton lose 2 games and get relegated.
Best team v City, win or draw. We win league.

Unfortunately a victim of our own success. We're in every comp going, was always going to cause a bit of a fixture pile up.
