The biggest problem this season was drawing both games with City, Chelsea and Spurs win one of those games and the title would have been ours

      It still F***ing could be.

Come on Stevie, your opportunity to put your own ghost to bed. It’s now or never! The club might award you a PL winners’ medal as souvenir for it.

All we can do is beat Wolves. Whatever happens at Maine Rd, happens.

The earlier we're in front against Wolves, the more nerves set in at their place. That's the only way we can influence the City result. If we're still goalless and it comes through that City are getting beat, it adds more pressure on us because then it's us throwing the League away - similar to how United did in 95.

So again, all we can do is beat Wolves.

Do that and see where we end up.

Will be tough if we don’t win it this year but you can’t complain really if you are in with an opportunity to win the league on the final day. For years we were out of it by November at times and now we are regularly there on the last day of the season still in with a shout.

Put on top the wider performances in the cups and this goes down as our most consistent ever season and if we collect Big Ears or the prem it will be our best season ever imo given the challenges we have faced.

Sent the title race to the final game of the season after being 14 points behind.  In the meanwhile, won two domestic trophies and got themselves to the final of the European Cup.

Hard to dispute this is the greatest team of players Liverpool have ever had.

Respectfully disagree, drawing against those teams is not the worst thing.

Now home against Brighton and away against Brentford ☹️

No the problem is if VAR does it's job against Spurs away we are 1 point ahead going into the final game!

Totally on point. Just win Reds. Dailymail's highlight at 6pm City slipped against Gerrard's team. Fingers crossed.

My hope is City will be so (over) determined that they might get an early red card, Fernandinho jumps right into my mind here. Even if City leads, as long as it is just 1-0 they will sh*t their pants and a lucky strike is possible. I also like that we need to play all guns blazing with our best 11. Real instead will not have had a serious game in 3 weeks, making them rusty for the CL Final.

I can see Man City losing, if not then so well done the reds to pull back them 14 points, amazing honestly, Gerrard manager last day of the season, it's got to happen surely, it's written already.
      We can only hope.

If villa have a go at city, they have a chance, and im sure the ex reds in the team will be right up for it.

So never know, cheeky draw city-villa and we win, maybe its our turn to win by a point. ;D

"Maine Road" showing your age now mate.
We play without fear knowing we can only win it but City can lose the title and we know they bottle big games.
No other Liverpool team or league team has come this close to winning 4 titles in a season.
      We just need to BELIEVE

I’m hearing City have a clause in the Grealish contract that says Villa get another £15 million if City win the league… any truth in that?

Ings to bang in a late equaliser.

Yep, since the turn of the year, we've won 15 & drawn 3 in the league, whilst bagging the League Cup, FA Cup & getting to the CL final.

A truly incredible run and unprecedented!

One minor miracle required to help complete a miraculous season!!

Interesting twist although I have noeyedear if that's the case. Players probably have bonuses written into their contracts. I'd be surprised but the Premier League bosses probably have no jurisdiction over contracts. Probably some sh*t stirrer trying to stir it up.
