City not respecting the 97 was terrible ,shame on you ! what a team Jürgen selected today ! Konate a massive player for us, midfield had it all, winning the ball creating, linking play 3 heroes for me ! Diaz...what a star player he is virtually unplayable,MOTM goes to Sadio who worked his knackers off all game ,Mo was disappointing again but will come good .What happened to yellow cards against Fernandinho and his fouling mates? refereeing needs looking at !.............fabulous play from our lads ,great performance
Its been few times in the past 2 or 3 seasons that they've shown how classless they are. I'd argue the fans and to a certain extent some of their players too.

Did Konate make a stance to be a starter before Matip in your eyes? IMO he's much faster than Joel and that is crucial against top contenders like City but on the other side of the coin he's good for 1-2 brainfarts while Matip is Mr. Consistency. So  ???

one good thing about today and it is a bonus the Gallagher twin have STFU. Like City they are just a poor tribute band to the real thing from Liverpool.

Only stance is Klopp’s..rest is just fluff, his way or no way, ask Sakho.

Naby Keita was fantastic today as well.

There is an argument that he has been our most consistent CM this season.

Don't think I will survive until the end of the season.

We've made it this far when we've been getting excited about trying to land just one trophy.  Absolute spoil of riches at the moment.  Drink it all in, I say!

I think him and Matip could play central defence and we'd win everything.  Three top class centre-backs at the club.  If you were being totally analytical you could argue that Konate's three goals in the last few games makes you wonder why van Dijk isn't scoring more?

Michael Oliver really didn't want to send Fernadinho off today did he?

Never have a seen a player get away with so much dirty challenges.

If you want to win trophies you end up in April and May playing the best teams.

We spent lots of year like Man Utd fans are now wondering about whether the Burnley's of the world would beat Arsenal so we could finish 4th.

if we beat Villa Real to get to the CL final we will have played the most games available to play in one season. just another tick in the box for Jürgen's red men

how many years did we say we are just 2 players short of a winning team and now we look at our bench and see 5 or 6 who could also start.
Looking forward to UTD and Everton at Anfield the crowd will do their job

Yet you still see people saying it has to be Hendo in midfield with Fab and Thiago . Been saying if for ages about Keita and is value to the team . I would say our strongest midfield contains Naby

Now we’ve beaten City, and quite convincingly regardless of the score line, we need to avoid any complacency against the mancs( fighting for fourth place) and Neverton  (fighting for survival)
Not too many changes please Jürgen, and gengen press the F**k out of them both !

It's the best squad in the history of the club.  This group of players would wipe the floor with any in our history.  It's an undeniable fact.

      Agree mate

I think I was being diplomatic and not trying to upset the olders lads on here.

But like you I think this squad is the best we've ever had.

Just got home, knew the result but just managed to watch some extended highlights and first of all what a great team we have ourselves here, arguably the best we’ve ever had, outstanding and Konate looks a monster at corners.

Secondly, what a classless, unimportant team that sh*te in blue are! They’ll be remembered in 100 years as the club that just couldn’t get into Europes elite even after spending a load of oil money.

Their biggest highlight will be ‘Augueroooooo’ and that’s because that player is single handily, without question, bigger than that fake, plastic club… can’t even sell out their Semi final tickets and the scum that did were a disgrace…

On that note, how F***ing AMAZING was that travelling support of ours!? Put their fans to shame.
