What makes me cringe is saying spurs centre-backs are boss when they're a pair of snidey, shithouse yarddogs. Nothing boss about a failed England midfielder who gets a game at centre-back!! They're just able to follow their managers instructions and play proper shithouse tactics.
Even the play acting from them was f**king embarrassing
It was dodgy tactics but think we expected that, a few moments though the other two did defend really well. Nothing that on a better day the forwards couldn't slice through with a chance. I expect teams to be all sly and time waste against us these days because the team balance we have is frightening and they can't set up to play football against us. Only break up play, upset rhythm and dive.
Dier at CB well, managers can chose to shift people to whatever position and if it works then it's kind of good management, don't rate him but he keeps getting games, seems to be consistent in his own not so glamorous way.
