There was no room for error from us and City, we’ve just made the first error and in all likelihood has probably just handed the title to City. We now need them to lose which I can’t see happening if I’m honest.

      Gutted

This. I'm super bummed atm. But hey, perhaps there's still another curve in the road. Ya never know.

This stuff about telling people to F**k off for saying their upset or saying the leagueis gone is childish. Everyone reacts to stuff different.

      So many pessimists in here.
City have Newcastle at home then wolves and West Ham away before stevie Gerrard takes his villa to Etihad.

If you can’t have any hope that city could lose on of those games then I don’t see the point in even following football.

They just got psychologically wrecked by madrid.
      I’m still hopeful.

We should’ve taken off Salah for Origi, all game Salah was off it, he’s not a goal threat at the moment and some of his decision making has been a bit bizarre at times.

had an excellent first half of the season and ever since the contract rumors and him losing the AFC final he has been really poor bar a few games.

Mane has been atrocious today too

Lot of effort but final of bit of quality lacking for once. Trent was more Hermes than DPD with his delivery tonight. Really hard to see us coming back to win the league now. Just keep hoping

Our finishing is atrocious. 22 attempts just 3 on target. Its happened quite a few times this season.

cant say it wasnt expected these lads are running on empty what they have done is incredible if City win tomorrow lets rest players and go for the finals.
F**kin hate Spurs especially that c**t Kane. Howay the lads.

Can’t fault the effort today, unfortunately it was one of those games where we weren’t getting the second balls and really trying to force it.

The perfect tactics from spurs really. Very annoying but all I can say is I F***ing love this team and the effort they put in.

Games have run out unfortunately and we’ll look back to games like Leicester and Brighton. But that’s life!

It's going down to the last day isn't it? You just know we are going to end up getting 9 points and it'll come down to that City vs Aston Villa game, we've all been saying that's how it's going to go... the way this season has been going I wouldn't be surprised....

Aren’t we on course to beat the record for most goals scored in a season?

Think we’ve just given City the push they needed, after they were dumped out of the Champions League!
Let’s hope Newcastle can do us a favour!

It’s so hard to keep a winning run like that going. Was always going to happen before the end of the season. Let’s hope we start a new run from now

I don’t think it was always going to happen, we’ve strung winning runs like this together numerous times now and had it well within our capabilities to keep it going. It didn’t help we conceded such a pissy little tap in goal, if we’d have scored first I think we’d have won.

But when people are saying we should rest players for the league and concentrate on the cups when we are currently top is ridiculous.

Tottenham defended brilliantly. To be honest with you, I'd have been gutted if we'd lost that because defeat is something you don't ever want to experience this late on in that fashion. At least a draw brought only disappointment with no loss of honour and feelings of total fallibility you get in defeat. That's not a taste you'd want when you've got two cup finals coming up.

They played and performed like a team that had a full week to rehearse for this. Sadly, we've become a victim of our own success this season what with all the mid week games we've had. Their goal was so weird - we just had a five minute period where it looked like we hit the wall. Properly crashed. They could have scored two in that time but thankfully they didn't.

I would have loved to have seen Salah just be more instinctive today. There were a couple of occasions when he should have pulled the trigger first time but his tendency to shift and shift and shift just lets him and everyone else down. Frustrating. Diaz - phenomenal once again. Mane? Oddly quiet.

Whether it changes anything? Well, we'll see. Always has been in City's hands but you'd have loved to have tested them right to the end.

Tough blow to take with so few games left in the season. Really need Newcastle and West Ham to come through.

Well, City lost to Tottenham. Still, I will not understand Klopp for playing so high against quality teams. We basically played Tottenham like we played Watford or Everton and that cannot be right. Salah also definitely shows the last weeks why he is not worth absolute top money.

Overall nothing to b*tch about. 3 to go, 4 to go for City but do not hold your breath for PL20 because City is a machine built for league competitions.

There’s a reason no one has does a quadruple. Simple impossible to keep up the intensity for so many games.

We’ve done so well to get this far and now we really need to prioritise the cups so we end up with a historic treble.
